Season 3A

Megara's POV:

Four months have gone by so slowly. In retrospect, it was a good thing to say no to Stiles, but I miss him so friggin' much.

"Meg, are you okay?" Lydia asks.

I nod. "Yeah, I just have some things on my mind. I'm okay."

Lydia gives me a small smile and goes on to say, "It is not a double date. It is a group thing."

Allison frowns. "Do they know it's a group thing? Cause I told you that I'm not ready to get back out there."

Lydia sighs. "You were in France and didn't do any dating for four months?" She then glances at me in her rearview mirror. "And you. You barely texted me all summer when you were off at that camp."

I tuck my hair behind my ear. "I'm sorry. Chiron doesn't like phones, even if they are iPod touches that can only text. I had to do so in secret."

They chuckle softly and Allison asks, "Did you? I mean, after..."

"Do not say his name." Lydia interrupts.

"Is he okay? Was everything sorted out?" I ask, leaning forward.

Lydia sighs. "Well, the doctors looked like total idiots when he turned up alive, but everyone got over it. And yes, Derek taught him the werewolf 101, like how not to randomly kill people during a full moon."

"So then you've talked to him?" Allison questions.

"Uh, not since he left for London." Lydia admits.

"You mean since his dad moved him to London."

Lydia purses her lips. "Whatever, he left. And seriously, an American werewolf in London? Like, that's not gonna be a disaster."

"It sounds like a good action or horror movie. I can't decide which." I joke, earning a glare from Lydia. "Sorry. Too soon? Yeah, too soon."

Allison glances to Lydia. "So you're totally over him?"

Lydia scoffs. "Would I be going on a double date if I wasn't? Yes, it is a double date. It's not an orgy. You'll live. Meg came up with an excuse about how she wants to rest after her flight. Why, I don't know. Maybe she's avoiding the guy she's been crushing on since she arrived."

"I am not!" I argue, feeling my cheeks heat up. "And plus, planes are scary."

Lydia rolls her eyes. "The odds of you dying in a car accident are much higher. Your odds of dying in a plane crash are one in 11 million, whereas they're one in 5,000 with a car accident. Besides; everyone knows you like Stiles."

"Yeah, okay, whatever. I do, I just--I sort of rejected him before I left."

Allison turns to face me. "Did you reject him totally or did you say you wanted to wait?"

"Well, uh, I said for him to ask me when I got back."

Lydia smiles. "There you go. I'm sure he'll ask you again before you know it."

I rest my head on the window and see a blue Jeep. "Oh, my gods. Oh gods. Lyds, drive faster, please!"

Allison turns to see what I'm freaking out about and turns to Lydia in desperation. "Lydia go! Just go!"

"But the light." Lydia protests.

Sure enough, we're at a red light, as are the boys. I shrink into myself as Lydia runs a red. "You two all right?" Lydia asks.

"Peachy." I mumble.

After a moment, Allison says, "Lydia, stop. We need to go back and talk to them."
