We run into the school and the boys hold the doors. "Lock it, lock it!" Scott yells.

Stiles turns to Scott. "Do I look like I have a key?"

"Grab something!"

I look around and find a board. As I'm walking back, Stiles runs out. "Stiles, no, don't!" Scott yells.

He creeps outside and walks towards the bolt cutters. When he's close, I see the Alpha. "Stiles! Run! Run!"

He picks up the bolt cutters and runs inside in the nick of time.

The moment he's safe, I throw my arms around his neck, standing on my tiptoes. "That was one of the stupidest things you've done."

He places one hand on my waist and runs the other through my hair. "But I'm safe."

Scott sighs. "While your moment is sweet, the Alpha has disappeared."

"Where did it go?" I ask, moving closer to the window, praying that the board will hold.

"That won't hold, will it?" Scott asks, pointing to the board.

Stiles shakes his head. "Probably not."

"The desk." Scott shines his flashlight down the hall as we hear growling. We run into an open classroom and the boys push a desk in front of the door, causing a loud screech to echo throughout the silent building. "Stop, stop. The door's not gonna keep it out."

"I know."

Stiles glares at Scott. "It's your boss."

"What?" Scott asks in confusion.

"Deaton, the Alpha? Your boss."

"No." Scott retorts.

"Yes, murdering psycho werewolf."

"That can't be."

Stiles scoffs. "Oh come on. He disappears, and that thing shows up ten seconds later to toss Derek 20 feet through the air. That's not convenient timing?"

"It's not him."

I frown. "He killed Derek, Scott."

Scott shakes his head a few times. "No, Derek's not dead. He can't be dead."

Stiles rolls his eyes at Scott's arguments. "Blood spurted out of his mouth, okay? That doesn't exactly qualify as a minor injury. He's dead, and we're next."

"Okay, just--what do we do?"

The boys walk over to the window, planning what to do next. "We get to my Jeep, we get out of here, you seriously think about quitting your job, good?"

Scott tries to open the window and is stopped by Stiles. "No, they don't open. The school's climate-controlled."

"Let me go out and fight it. I know I can beat it."

They just stare at me as if wondering how I could think something like that. Stiles speaks up. "No. You're not going out there. It's slightly safer in here."

I make a point of rolling my eyes. "Fine. Scott? You got a better idea?"

He nods. "We break the window."

"Which will make a lot of noise." Stiles argues.

"Then, uh, we run really fast. Really fast." Scott decides.

"That's got to be the worst idea. Uh, Stiles, what's wrong with the hood of your Jeep?"

He frowns in an offended tone. "What do you mean? Nothing's wrong."
