Blackness surrounded me on both sides, closing in on me. I couldn't breathe. Panic welled up inside of me. I floundered about in the dark, clawing and grasping for anything, anything, that could help me. Suddenly the floor collapsed from below me. Then I was falling, falling, down, down, down, into eternal darkness.
