CHAPTER 13

Lance awoke happy that morning. Zarkon was defeated, so maybe he could finally ask Alurra to go home!

To his planet, his family, Lotor!

Lance walked into the meeting room.

"Thank you all for coming," Alurra said. "I know yu are all desprate to return to earth-"

"YES! FINALLY!" Lance cheered.

"-But a new threat has arisen."

"...what?" Lance gasped. "But that means-"

"Yes Lance, we won't be returning to Earth." Corran said.

"We believe the Galra empire is under new management." Alurra said. "This,"

She pulled up a photo. "Is Prince Lotor."

"Hey!" Hunk said. "That's-"

"-Hunk!" Lance hissed.

"What is it?" Shiro asked.

"We've just, uh, WE HAD A DND CHARACTER NAMED PRINCE LOTOR!" Lance said quickly.

"You're such a loser," Keith scoffed.

"WILL YOU STOP CALLING ME THAT! It'S LITERALLY BEEN YEARS-"

Lance and Hunk sat in Lance's room after the meeting.

"Lance! Why didn't you want to tell them about Lotor?" Hunk asked.

"Look Hunk, I love Lotor and I'm not ashamed of our relationship," Lance said. "But Lotor hated the empire! If he's ruling them now, something must've happened. Plus, we both know the team hasn't trusted me since they learned I got Keith kicked out of the Garrison."

Hunk nodded. "True. But I trust you!"

"Heh, thanks Hunk. But if they know I know Lotor, they'll think I'm a traitor or something!"

"I see...But Lance, don't you wanna talk to him?"

Lance started to tear up. "I do..I really do...!"

"Well, I think I have an idea on how to get you in touch with him."

"Hey Alurra! Me and Lance had this awesome idea!" Hunk said.

"Oh, what is it?" Alurra asked.

"Well, Lance is really good with phones. Like, he can track any number and make sure nothing leads them back to him. We were thinking if we got this new Lotor guy's number, Lance could track them!"

"Is this true Lance?" Laurra asked.

Lance nodded.

"Well ok, I'm trusting you!" Alurra said. Here is his number thing..."
