It's been a week since my surprise date with Josh. We haven't exactly gotten back together, but I think we're on our way there.

Josh has also been watching the girls while I'm off with Elena preparing for the wedding. I still can't believe my best friend is getting married tomorrow.

All bridesmaids, moms, and flower girls are currently heading to Elena's childhood home where her mom is hosting a sleepover. The twins are already dressed in their onesie pajamas while I'm wearing basic black shorts with one of Josh's old sweatshirts.

I grabbed the overnight bag out of the car after letting the girls out of their car seats. Keegan and Bryn ran to the door where they knocked repeatedly before someone opened the door.

"Where are the cookies!?" Keegan and Bryn yelled running past Elena, who opened the door.

"You can't even say hi to your favorite aunt?" She laughed before turning toward me.

"Sorry," I apologized with a small chuckle. "I may have promised them a cookie when we got here."

"I-," she began, but stopped short as she took in my outfit. "Is that Josh's sweatshirt? Did something happen between you guys?"

"It's not a big deal, but I'll tell you later," I reassured as we headed to the kitchen.

"Sabrinaaa," Elena complained.

"I'll tell you later, I promise."

The island in the kitchen was filled with a variety of food. There were pizza boxes, chips and dip, fruit trays, etc. All of the drinks and desert were at another table. While everyone was getting their food, I found my daughters munching on their cookies in the living room.

After dinner, everyone helped push the furniture in the living room up against the wall

After dinner, everyone helped push the furniture in the living room up against the wall. We then threw pillows and blankets on the floor creating a comfortable place to sit or lay down. The moms were in the kitchen busy making popcorn and ice cream sundaes. Before they came back we spent our time talking and looking for a good movie to watch.

"Sabrina," Elena said already give her puppy dog eyes. "Will you please tell us about Josh?"

"Not without us she won't," Marley said coming back from the kitchen. The other moms followed with trays of sundaes and popcorn.

"Fine," I sighed. "About a week ago, Josh surprised me with a little at home date. He decorated my apartment with candles and cooked my favorite meal. He also apologized for the past and told me how he felt. We decided to give us another try so he's been at my place almost every night. We've spent a lot of time alone and with the girls. It's been great and I love it, but we're still not exactly together."

"What do you mean you're not together?" My mom asked.

"We haven't really talked about the whole labeling of boyfriend and girlfriend."

"Do you think you will anytime soon?"

"Maybe after the wedding," I answered while rubbing Bryn's back as she laid on my lap. "I'm going to put the girls to bed. Can they sleep in the guest room?"

"Of course, honey," Elena's mom answered. I headed up the stairs with Bryn in my arms while my mom followed with Keegan. We tucked them into the comforter, and while being half asleep, Bryn rolled over to cuddle up with her sister.

"I'm so happy for you," my mom whispered wrapping an arm around my shoulder. "You deserve all the love in the world."

"Thanks, Mom."
