After I had told the sisters a bit about me, I found myself in their guest room. I had made sure not to mention about my parents and Hailey and Carrie didn't pry either. I hope that I'd never have to see my Mom again, okay that was a lie. I was, am and always will be a Mamma's boy.

I plugged in my headphones and scrolled my music and found a song which made me smile and dash downstairs where I found Carrie and Hailey.  "Oh, hey." they both waved and I smiled back.  "Um, is it possible for me to use that little studio that you have downstairs?" I asked and Hailey looked at Carrie.

"I'll let y'all listen,"  I added and both of their heads snapped to me, "To make up for yesterday." I told them and Carrie finally nodded and I thanked them as we headed down to their basement. They locked the door and let me go inside and put on the headphones and I gave Hailey my phone and told her to press play for me.

"Now." I said when I was secured in the studio, with the headphones on and soon the music started.  "When I look into your eyes, It's likes watching the night sky. Or a beautiful sunrise, Well there's so much they hold. And just like them old stars, I see that you've come so far. To be right where you are. How old is your soul?" I sang.

"Well, I won't give up on us. Even if the skies get rough. I'm giving you all my love. I'm still looking up."   "And when you're needing your space. To do some navigating, I'll be here patiently waiting, To see what you find." I continued before taking a big breath.

"'Cause even the stars they burn. Some even fall to the earth. We've got a lot to learn, God knows we're worth it, No, I won't give up."

"I don't wanna meet someone who walks away so easily, I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make. Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use. The tools and gifts we got, yeah, we got a lot at stake. And in the end, you're still my friend at least we did intend for us to work, We didn't break, we didn't burn. We had to learn how to bend without the world caving in.
I had to learn what I've got, and what I'm not, and who I am." My voice raised before going back soft and sweet.

"I won't give up on us. Even if the skies get rough, I'm giving you all my love. I'm still looking up, still looking up."                                                                                                                                       "Well, I won't give up on us, God knows I'm tough enough. We've got a lot to learn, God knows we're worth it."

"I won't give up on us. Even if the skies get rough, I'm giving you all my love. I'm still looking up."  I sang the last bit softly, loud but soft.

I sighed, eyes closed, taking the headphones off and putting my head down as a tear rolled down my cheek.  This was my Dad's song, he would always say that he wouldn't 'give up' and he always said that going against his parents wishes were worth us -- our family. He would also sing it a lot.

Suddenly the door creaked open and closed and a pair of arms wrapped around me and I layed my head on her chest and silently sobbed, wrapping my arms around her waist.  "Do you want to alk about it?" Hailey's voice asked and I shook my head, pulling away from her, instantly feeling cold without her touch.

I exhaled shakily, drying my eyes.  "I'm sorry," I muttered,  "I'm such a big baby." I admitted and Hailey scoffed.  "No you're not. Everyone has problems." She said as if speaking from experience,  "Just because you cry doesn't make you a baby. You need to cry. Y'know, to get it out of your system." She said, rubbing my shoulder and I dropped my hands, looking at her.

"You really think so?" I asked and she smiled, biting her bottom lip, "I know so."

"And you were really good." She praised me and I chuckled, rolling my eyes. "No, I wasn't." I shook my head and she nodded, "Yes, you were."
