*The Next Day*

I was the first to wake up. I walked to the babies's room, they were still sleeping so I decided to let them sleep.

I walked out of the room and quietly closed the door, I walked in the kitchen and started making breakfast.

"Good morning Diane" I heard John saying

"Good morning Deaky" I said and kept cooking "Did you sleep well?" I asked

"Not really, Freddie kicks in his sleep..a lot" he yawned and sat on the chair

I poured coffee in a mug and gave it to him "Here that will keep you awake for a while" I said

"Thank you!" He said "why are you up so early?" He asked

"I couldn't sleep.. I'm always half awake incase the babies need me" I said and I sat on the chair

"How are you doing?" He asked

"I'm doing okay, I just feel so overwhelmed with everything that happens lately" I said

"You can always talk to me, you know I won't tell anything to anyone" he said

"Thanks..." I smelled something burning "Shit!" I got up and turned off the oven.

I took out the cake from the oven and I accidentally burned my hand so I had to let go of the pan quickly

"Are you okay?" John got up and walked next to me

"Yes.." I tried to hold back the tears and I looked at my palm "See? Everything's okay" I said and I poured cold water over it

"What was that noise??" Freddie said running in the kitchen

"It's nothing, go back to sleep" I said

"She burned her hand" John said

"Should I wake Brian up?" Freddie asked

"No! Let him sleep, I'm fine" I said and I heard the babies crying "Excuse me.." I said and I run to their room

*Freddie's POV*

"We have to tell Brian!" I said

"Tell him what?" John asked

"About what happened." I said

"But Diane said not to wake him up" John said

*Diane's POV*

I walked back in the kitchen while holding Nicole and Erica in my arms
"Here's uncle Freddie and uncle John" I said and I smiled at the girls

Erica reached out her hand at them

"Can I hold her?" Freddie asked

"Of course" I said and Freddie took her off my arm and held her "Do you want to hold Nicole?" I looked at John

He nodded and smiled and I gave her to John.

"I'll go see if Brian's awake..I'll be back in 2 minutes" I said and I walked upstairs

I heard Brian talking on the phone. I leaned my head closer to the door but all I heard was him saying "I miss you" and "I'll see you soon"

I didn't know what to think.. maybe he was talking to an old friend or his mom...or to another woman...

My heart was about to explode. I didn't want to say something I would regret. But I wanted to know who he was talking to.

I took a deep breath and walked in the room
