Regina knew she was with Jandro. Technically, they hadn't broken up yet, even though the last time she had seen him in person was October 14th a year ago. To almost everyone she knew - and everyone Jandro knew too - she was Jandro's girlfriend. He was her boyfriend. They were, in fact, in a relationship. But the truth was, she hadn't felt like that for a long, long time.
She could still remember the days he would smile at her, and each of those days it would light up her world. She remembered his kisses, his hand firm around her waist. She remembered being alone with him and feeling everything...
When was the last time she felt anything with him? Even the slightest flicker of joy, contentment, hope. She realised, there hadn't been one for ages.
Once upon a time, she had been happy with Jandro. As of now, she was officially not.
She was officially not in a relationship.
