Thomas was so caught up listening to the lull of Regina's voice, watching her eyes lower every time she felt uneasy or embarrassed - he was especially intrigued by how she brushed her hair behind her ear every time she was flustered - he almost missed the bus stop.
"Oh," He said, stopping shortly at the stop at the end of the street. Dime Street. He turned to look at Regina. "This is - uhh, I'm here."
"Oh," she parroted. She looked as stunned as he felt. She tried to cover up her surprise with a vigorous nod. "Okay."
"Yeah.." he trailed off, hands fidgeting inside his jeans pockets. He glanced down, feeling reality plough him right down the center of his brain. Reality was a horrible thing.
She nodded again, like she was unsure what to say.
