chapter 1 — moving in

Clementine opened her phone and texted her old friend group chat, They were awake, it was one in the morning. The "night" is still young. She wasn't surprised, Everyone was a night owl, maybe except Duck and Sarah. Kenny and Carlos were strict about sleeping schedules, can't say the same about Javi and Kate, or Lee. Carley was the opposite of Lee when it came to sleep schedules "sleep before 12 am" Carley said, it'll be helpful she said.

"Clemmy Clou, Pudding, Quack, The Gurglers, Candy Bars"

C = Clem G = Gabe M = Mariana D = Duck S = Sarah

C - "Hey :)"

G - "Oh, Hi Clem :,)"

M - "Gabe's still sad about you leaving the farewell party early HAHA"

G - "Shh."

D - "Shh doesn't work on text. Plus did you forget you and Mari are going to the same highschool as her? Me and Sarah are staying behind : ("

C - "I'm surprised you're awake."

G - "Yeah, dUcK qUaCk QuAck qUacK. You aren't usually a night owl. And Mariana is going to junior high doofus"

S - "Hey, Someone's tryna sleep here >:((("

M - "Sorry, Sarah. For you not turning off your notifications"

D - "Gabe don't mock me :,) Crap, Dad's coming up stairs. Ttyl"

C - "Bye duck, tell Kenny hi!"

D - "Asif."

C - "Well Gabe, I'll see you in school, depending if we're classmates."

G - "Yeah.. You should get sleep, I heard you were up since 5 am yesterday, All nighters"

M - "Poor Clem."

C - "Hey, Does Javi let you stay up this late?"

M - "Well.. He's stoked out again and he doesn't mind. He wanted us to go wild on the last night of summer, y'know."

G - "A bit irresponsible but cool!"

C - "Haha.. If i wasn't moving alot then Lee would restrict me to 10 pm as the latest. You're lucky to be related to a cool uncle"

M - "Yeah, he gave me a candy bar always!"

Clementine smiled

"I'm getting quite sleepy, Send all the memes"

Mariana proceeded to send a meme of Gabe

G - "are you serious?"

Clementine giggled mentally

C - "I'll see you in the halls, Mari."

M - "Aww Gabe is sad because you wanna sleep"
