Chapter 3: Karmi

Note: in my opinion I like Karmi there's definitely some character development coming in the future season 3. I saw some in season 2 and I have hopes. I'm kinda gonna balance her personality between annoying and sometimes nice.

The Girl with brown hair was giggling at you and Hiro. You both then realize you're still holding hands.

"Oooh Hiro I'm surprised. You got yourself a girlfriend?" Karmi said in the most annoying tone ever.

"Girlfriend? U-Uh who said she was my Girlfriend? Professor Granville just told me to show her around that's all. She's a new student." Hiro said.

"Hi Karmi I'm Y/n. I hope we can be friends." You said trying to be polite to turn the tone of this conversation around.

"Yeah sure, as long as you're not annoying like Hiro." She said turning around walking away. "Well it was nice meeting you Y/n. It would've been nicer if HE wasn't around but you seem ok. Cya."

You were confused about how fast that interaction/introduction with Karmi was.
"She seems nice?" You said aware of the response you're gonna get back.

"Yeah no kidding." Hiro said with full and heavy sarcasm.

"So who was she?Karmi was it? She doesn't seem to like you at all." You said in a soft tone so Hiro wouldn't get annoyed.

"Yeah she was another student from last year who Professor Granville had me do a project with her. She was annoying. Always bragging about how good at her work she is. I tried to become friends with her but she's just so difficult. So I guess we are rivals now." Hiro said.

"Wow dang. Don't worry. I'll be nice to her so it doesn't leave a bad impression on you. I wouldn't want you to get more annoyed with her than you already are." You said feeling bad for Hiro.

"Thanks but Let's Continue with the tour." Hiro said leading the way.

•Time Skip•

It's the end of the school day. You walk out of SFIT smiling. You had a great day today. You've made 5 friends already! And maybe Karmi if she warms up to you.

'Next time I run into Karmi I'll try to be friends with her. So hiro can be friends with her too. So there's no rivalry!' You thought to yourself. You loved ending conflicts and fights. It always felt good to do the right thing. As you thought about this, you see a similar figure. It's Karmi.

"Hi Karmi!" You said with enthusiasm.

"Oh uh hey. What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I was just leaving school. And I saw you so I wanted to say hi." You said.

"Oh so that's it? Ok then." Karmi said as she started walking away.

'Oh alright well frick you too I guess.' You thought to yourself. While your mind was thinking your heart acted knowing your doing this for Hiro, even though he didn't ask.

"No wait." You said grabbing her wrist. "I want to be friends with you. You seem like a nice person." You added.

"Hm. Well alright then. But don't become annoying like Hiro." She said looking away.

"Alright then." You held your hand out to shake.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Basic ways of interacting. Hand shaking. Besides we are making an agreement aren't we?" You said moving are hand a little so you will notice it and start shaking it already.

"Heh. Yeah I guess so." She said returning the hand shake. She paused a second. Then smiled. "Hey. Do you have a crush on hiro?" She asked smirking.

"Haha, no I just met him today so. He's just a friend." You said scratching the back of your head.

"Then why were you guys holding hands when I first saw you." She asked while continuing to smirk.

"Oh that's because Hiro was trying to get me away from Honey Lemon and her stickers." You said showing her the sticker.

"Well I can believe that. She is Honey Lemon after all. But how come when I asked if you were Hiro's Girlfriend you immediately starting turning hot red?" She said turning her head to the side.

"I did? I probably didn't notice. It was a weird question after all." You responded.

"Hm. Y/n. I'm a girl too. I'm smart enough to know when a girl gets flustered over a boy." She said smirking.

"So you've flustered over a boy before?" You said giving Karmi a taste of her own medicine by smirking back. (it's super effective)

Karmi immediately starting blushing hard. "Y-Yeah! I have!" She said reluctantly because she knows you will ask, 'why do you know when A girl gets flustered in the first place.'

"Oooh have I heard of this boy before?" You asked Karmi smirking.

"Well I've hope you've have! It's Captain cutie!!" Karmi said shoving a picture of a super hero in your face.

"He kinda looks like h-." You were interrupted by Karmi fangirling intensely.

"A SUPER HERO? YES! Captain cutie is a part of the super hero group Big hero 6. He saved my life! I loved him ever since." She said looking at the stars, her phone put close to her chest where her heart was supposed to be.

You've realized you've gone kinda in too deep with Karmi's fangirling. You would normally just let them spit it all out cause it's interesting to hear. But, you've haven't got all the time in the world. Besides your moms inviting you to dinner sooooo, can't miss that!

"Hey uh Karmi I gotta go now we can talk more tomorrow if you want." You said waving to her.

"Ok Y/n nice meeting you bye!" She said walking off.

'Hey I made a 6th Friend! You are on a roll here Y/n!' You said to yourself. You couldn't help but think about Big hero 6. You already knew about them of course but you couldn't help but notice The leader, or as Karmi likes to call him "captain cutie" kinda looked like... No you stopped thinking about it. Even if it was him it's super hero universe rule #1 not to reveal secret identities, much less jump to conclusions. Besides you didn't know Hiro well enough to assume that.

You only hope the rest of your adventure will be as exciting as this beginning is.

Authors note: wow I got 2 chapters out in the same day, dang I'm on a roll here 😎. Ima eat ice cream. Chapter 4 will probably be out this Thursday or next Thursday. I have one more school day left so I'll be able to make more chapters after that's over. Anyways keep sm:)ing.
