It's been kind of weird with me and Zion. We were the same couple but I just can't explain. We honestly hadn't talked much about the baby and what we're going to do. Today was my first appointment for baby and I was pretty nervous. I had woken up early and taken a shower so I can get ready for the day while he kept sleeping. After I finished getting ready, Zion came in the bathroom
"Good morning Smalls" he says and then go's to pee
"Good morning" I say sighing
"What's wrong?" he says finishing using the bathroom then going washing his hands
"Nothing" I say then go back in the room and he follows
"Nah it's not nothing" he says
"I'm just nervous okay?" I say sitting
on the bed and putting my shoes. He comes and sits next to me and hugs me and starts giving me a bunch of kisses
"Stop" I say while laughing
"It'll be okay, Okay?" he says and I nod
"Aight let's go" he says standing up then holding his hand out and I take his hand and walk downstairs
"Where you guys going?" Nick asks
"To get food" Zion says
"I want some" Nick replies back
"Fine" Zion says and then we walk out. We drive 30 minutes away to the clinic. The whole time driving there, Zion kept his hand on my thigh. I'm glad he hasn't been mad about this whole thing. At least I hope he isn't. Hopefully he's not hiding it. We walk into the doctors office and I fill out paperwork and stuff. The doctor calls my name and Zion and I walk into the room.
"Hello I'm Dr. Hayes" the doctor says shaking our hands. I sit on the doctors bed and Zion sits on the chair
"So first we have to confirm that your pregnant" the doctor says. She gives me a cup to pee in and then I go into the bathroom and pee. She takes it then leaves the room. Zion and I were pretty quiet and he came up to me and kisses me
"You excited?" he says
"Are you?" I say
"Of course" he says. He stays next to me, holding my hand till we wait until the doctor comes back.
"I think there's a complication" she says
"What do you mean?" I say
"Well, from your pee, it doesn't say you're pregnant" she says. I look at Zion and he looks confused
"But the test said positive" Zion says
"How many did you take?" she asks me
"I only took one" I say
"It's always good to take a couple to actually confirm" she says "I'm going to take your blood work just in case somethings wrong with the urine tests" she says and I nod. I didn't know what to feel. I was happy because I wasn't ready for a kid at the moment, but I was kind of getting excited to have my own baby. The doctor takes my blood and I'm still confused
"Also I haven't gotten my period. It's about a week late" I say
"Have you been stressed lately?" she asks, and I think about Colorado
"Kind of" I say
"That could be the reason it's late. But again the blood work will fully determine if you're pregnant or not" she says. She asks some more questions and then she says we can leave.
"You okay?" Zion says rubbing my back
"I don't know" I say "I wasnt expecting this"
"Me either" he says and then he stands back
