Chapter 12 - Kai

*3 hours later; 6:45pm*

Man we back at my place chilling. Treasure went down to the den on the phone to talk to Slim. I miss that fuu.

Jew in the room laying down. She hasn't spoke to me since I've been back. I brought her something to eat and a outfit but she isn't feeling me right now, I'm not gone stress it tho.

I go into the room and grab some boxer briefs and a sports bra. I throw my clothes in the basket for my dirty laundry and wrap up with a towel. Jewelle watched the entire time. I laughed and went to the bathroom. I started the shower and got in.

Jew be tryna act like a hard ass and she really not. It's funny as fuck. She'll be alright tho. I'll let her have her moment of acting up.

"Babeeeee.." I hear Jewelle say coming into the bathroom.

"Yeaaa?" I slide the glass door to the shower, "what's wrong?"

"Nothing, I was just missing you. I don't want you to go out tonight. I wanna stay in and I want you to stay in." Is she serious, oh hell no.

"Im sorry but it's one of Pete's parties tonight, I'm going out. I always go!" She crazy as fuck if she think I'm staying home. She better bring her ass on.

"So the party is more important? Kai I know we just started this relationship and all but I wanna bond with you. We already rushed as it is. I just wanna be around you and learn things about you and teach you things about me." Ughhhhhhhhh.

Damn she got a point. Ion wanna leave her hanging tonight either. Ugh damn it.

"Alright, I'll stay home." I attempt to close the glass door but Jew stops me. She grabs my hand pulling me out of the shower.

"So I'm important?" She says it so giggly and cute that I melt. I butt ass naked and wet then she got the door open so it's cold as fuck! I grab my towel, wrapping it around me.

"Of course Jew. I wanna show you someone can be genuine and care about you." She lights up immediately. She is so cute it's crazy.

"You care about me?"

"Duhh! I brought you to stay with me cause I ain't tryna let nobody hurt you." I just wanna protect her.

"Awe. I feel special."

"You are." I grab my sports bra and briefs and put them on. "Let me go tell Treasure I'm not going and I'll be back."

"Hmm okay."

I go down to den and tell Tre wassup for the night. She get a lil mad but she understand cause she missed out on a few parties to kick it with Slim since Slim always was busy. I ran back up stairs and hugged all on Jewelle. It feel so good to do this again.

A couple hours went by and I ordered a pizza for me Jew & Tre since we was kicking shit at the crib. I know it seemed like Tre was 3rd wheeling but she basically lived here too. She only went home on school nights so she could help her maa get her younger siblings ready for school. But soon ass Saturday hit she was here.

We decided to get on Netflix and watch Orange Is The New Black, about 6 minutes into the 5th episode the doorbell rung. Pizza man here. I jump up grab my wallet and go to the door. To my surprise it ain't the pizza guy. It's Slim!

"My NIGGAAAA! Wassupp young?" She says with her thick New York accent.

"Ayee nigga wassup!? Thought you wasn't coming til like next month!? What you doing here early??" I notice what she had on... I know my nigga ain't join the army.

"Well I wanted to surprise the crew Ya know. Where my shawty at Tho?"

"Down in the den, but aye some shit done changed B."

"What you mean? She seeing somebody?" She starts getting mad, "They down there young? Swear I'm finna beat somebody ass."

"Naa nigga it ain't about Treasure! I got a new girl." Her whole attitude change.

"Damn forreal young? You good with the Greyson being gone thing?" No I'm not good with it, I wish she was still here. But time machines don't exist.

"Yea man she downstairs with Tre, I thought you was the pizza guy. And naa man I'm not good with Greyson being gone but..." I get cut off by Tre screaming and shit running to Slim.

They hug and kiss. I know they missed each other. It's been a year almost since Slim left.
