I looked around at my chaos, hoping that Lightning Prince would show up. I know that I'm dying and I could got to the hospital but I just don't trust them.  I decide to make another wave on the other side of the building.

"Come on, Lightning Prince," I yelled, looking up to see a news chopper.

"We are live on top of the trading building, where Dark Shadow is causing chaos around it," said the news lady.  I decide to throw a shadow spear into the chopper. They forced landed on the roof.

"Hurry up, Lightning Prince or say goodbye to these people," I said, making it sound like I mean it. I really won't do anything to them. I heard a clash of thunder and a flicker of lightning. I smiled and saw him landing right next to them. I raised my hand and undid everything.

"You did all of this to get my attention?" Lightning Prince asked, crossing his arms.

"Yes," I said, looking at the news lady, "Leave or you will ended up in a void of shadows," I threaten. She and the crew took off. Leaving me with Lightning Prince.

"Okay, we are alone now. What do you want?" He asked, sounding unamused.

"Your help," I said, holding my shoulder.

"With what?" Lightning Prince asked, walking closer to me.

"With my injuries," I said, looking down at the ground.

"Why don't you just  go to the hospital?" He huffed.

"I don't trust them," I said.

"So, your a villain. Why would I help you?" Lightning Prince said.

"FINE DON'T HELP. I WILL DIE ANYWAYS!" I screamed. I felt a ping of disappointment feeling my chest, "AND I THOUGHT YOU WERE THE ONLY PERSON WHO CARED!" I screamed again and left into the shadows.

I was at home finishing my homework when my wrist watch went off. I looked to see it was Dark Shadow doing something villain like.  I sighed and got into my costume. I went out and landed on the roof.

"You did all of this to get my attention?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"Yes," Dark Shadow said, looking at the news lady, "Leave or you will ended up in a void of shadows," he threaten. She and the crew took off. Leaving me with Dark Shadow.

"Okay, we are alone now. What do you want?" I asked, sounding unamused.

"Your help," he said, holding his shoulder. What wrong with him?

"With what?" I asked, walking closer to him.

"With my injuries," Dark Shadow said, looking down at the ground. He's injured?

"Why don't you just  go to the hospital?" I huffed.

"I don't trust them," he said.

"So, your a villain. Why would I help you?" I questioned him.

"FINE DON'T HELP. I WILL DIE ANYWAYS!" Dark Shadow screamed, "AND I THOUGHT YOU WERE THE ONLY PERSON WHO CARED!"  Then left into the shadows. I felt guilty for not helping him but he is a villain. No, he's also a person.

"Damn it," I said, went off to find my villain.  I looked and saw him at a park where I met Carter.  I landed down in front of him. Seeing him breathing slowly, walked closer to him, "Dark Shadow?" I whispered, placing my hand on his arm.

"No, go away," He mumbled.

"Dark Shadow," I said again but a little louder. His eyes flickered opened.

"What do you want?" Dark Shadow growled.

"I'm here to help and to apologized to you. I forgot you're still a person underneath all of that," I  said jestering to the clothes.

"It's fine. I know you got a reputation to keep up," He sighed, looking at me.

"Yeah, I guess but let me see those injuries of your," I said.

"Not here somewhere else please," Dark Shadow pleaded, seeming to be scared.

"Alright but where?" I asked.

"Anywhere but here," he said, looking around. I nodded. I picked him up and flew to a safest place I know besides my house. I landed on the roof and headed inside.

"Where are we?" Dark Shadow asked, looking around.

"Um... it's my home away from home," I said, looking at him.

"So, your HQ?" he asked.

"Kind of," I replied. I walked over to my first aid kit and grabbed, "Now, your wounds."

"Right," Dark Shadow said. He started taking of his cape, next was his armor, then his shirt. I looked at his armor. It was just a bullet proof vest.  Dark Shadow looked at me and then turned around. His back was littered with scars. There was two deep cuts in his shoulder blades.

"How in the world did this happened?" I asked, feeling all kinds of emotions.

"I can't tell you that, Lightning Prince," he muttered.

"And why not?" I asked, making him face me.

"Because this involve my personal life," Dark Shadow said, taking a deep dragging breath.

"Right," I said, a little disappointed but its better than nothing. I really want to know more about him as a person not a villain.  I took him over to a table and laid him on his stomach. I started to clean his wounds.  I felt him wince but never a cry out from the pain. Which is the oddest thing to me.

"Are you almost finished?" he asked in a steady voice.

"Yeah, I just have to wrap it," I said, lightly placing the wrap on his back.  Dark Shadow was quiet it for a long time. I looked down at his resting face, "This is so cute," I said, aloud. I picked him and carried him to a bed so he can sleep in more comfort, "Goodnight Dark Shadow," I whispered into his ears before leaving the room.

"Goodnight, Lightning Prince," I heard him. I smiled at how soft his voice could be. I guess I'm falling for my own villain.
