It was the third day Taehyung was still laid inside after he had fell ill. Jungkook kept sneaking inside his room through the window they had became familiar too

The way he would stay by his side the whole night, sleeping in each other's arms was the happiest moment in the day for him. And when he had to leave early in the morning before the other woke was the worst

Today he woke up miserable, he was feeling like shit. The event from yesterday with Jimin kept bothering him throughout the day

He had wondered how things got to this. The one he once would call his one and only best friend, the closest to his heart after he had no one left to lean his shoulder at was now slowly turning to someone he didn't know

A stranger to him he once felt like he knew

A gentle knock was heard from the door of the blue haired. He let out a small 'come in' for the one standing behind it

His eyes got slightly widened once he saw who had walked in, with a small pastel bag in their tense hand. It was Samantha

"Hey.."

She told, a soft voice behind the words as she kept standing by the door, her fingers nervously playing with a hair strand

Taehyung hadn't have much of interaction with the girl, only the time she made fun of him when he was sick. Just like this. He had wondering what she was doing here now

"Hey, are you looking for someone?"

He asked, still polite as he kept talking nice to the anxious girl. It seemed like something was bothering her mind as she kept staring at the ground beneath her, her eyes never meeting the other

"I'm actually here to see you"

She said hesitant. The words leaving her tounge made the other shocked to hear. He didn't know why Samantha wanted to see him when she barely liked him

With a silent filling the air, Samantha decided to take a few steps towards the others bed. Standing tall beside it as she pulled her arm towards the blue haired, the pastel colored bag in her hand

"This is a small gift as a sorry from me for the time I wasn't quite nice to you"

She told as the bag dangled in the air before Taehyungs eyes. He could see the guilt covering her blue eyes as she talked. His body turned warm from the words, as he smiled

"Don't worry about it, I'm glad you took the courage to do this. Thank you"

He reasurred her before taking the bag in his hand, a smile still plastered on his lips. Samantha couldn't help but smile herself from the kind words she recieved

Taehyung pointed towards the edge of the bed, signaling for her to take a seat instead of standing. Once she had sat down, Taehyung pulled out the gift in the bag

A gold necklace came out, holding it between his fingers as he couldn't help but chuckle once he saw it as he showed Samantha the purple necklace around his neck

"My mom wasn't the best kind of one when I was just a kid. She never really showed any affection towards me, I guess that's why I turned out like this. I wanted the attention I never really had"

Samantha started, her eyes staring at the necklace she gave Taehyung, eyes drowning in a warm sadness

"That necklace was the first thing I got from her, before she decided to pack her bags and leave. That day I still was happy because that's the first time she showed me affection"

She continued, a small smile on her lips as she finnaly decided to leave her gaze on Taehyung who took a hold of her hand. He placed the gold necklace gently In her hand before slowly taking of his own

"I got this from my mom as well. We used to be really close and she always showed me the love my father never gave"

He said, placing his own necklace in his hand as he held it beside Samathas. The colors colliding as they stared at the two necklaces with the memory of their mothers

"After I told her a secret she saw me as a stranger. She died a year ago and I never had the chance to make her proud"

He said after a quiet silence

"I guess we both have fucked up parents"

Samatha told making both of them let out a bright laugh. Maybe a talk is something everyone needs. We all connect somehow
