angsty situations!
(requested by IsabelleJacobs1)

dick grayson―
it was your last mission when dick thought that he was going to lose you. you and dick had gotten into a heated argument on patrol and when the police scanners picked up crime near your patrol area you told him that you would deal with it on your own. you said that two hours ago. dick had been worrying ever since countless situations popped into his mind as he thought about you. it didn't help that you two had a heated argument prior to you leaving. he didn't care that you said that you would go alone, so he went and followed you

he found you in an empty alleyway, you had two bullets in your dominant arm, your left leg was slashed with a broken beer bottle and you were losing blood with every passing second. dick instantly rushed you to the hospital. a week later you were finally awake only to see that dick was by your bedside, his eyes bloodshot red and he looked like he hadn't slept in days. he had spent the whole week looking for the people that were trying to kill you and the results he got were not what he wanted

"dick? what's wrong, babe?" you asked. "y/n, you almost died! i should have been there! i shouldn't have let you go by yourself!" he roared. "but i'm fine now, everything's okay," you persisted as you sat up from your bed. "no, it's not fine! do you know how many days i spent wondering if you were going to make it out alive!? y/n! i love you, don't you give a damn about that!" dick yelled as tears streamed down his face "if i lost you, IF I LOST YOU, i-i-i, i don't know what would happen to me!"

jason todd―
it was the anniversary of his death. how could he cope with that? coming back from the dead wasn't something that people should deal with. for jason, being reminded about his death was the worst thing in the world. damn, he hated that day. his PTSD became worse than ever in that moment. the flashes of the joker beating him with the crowbar, the smell of the fire after the bomb. he could literally see his life flash before his eyes and it wasn't for the better. it was during this time especially that jason would go on his own to see his old grave

you never bothered to invade his privacy, you respected jason's wishes for him to go to his grave alone, but he did give you a time to pick him up. but as you went to the cemetery to find jason, he wasn't there. your heart started to beat faster with every passing second. this was jason's low, and you needed to find him before something worse was to come. you ran, looking for jason, calling out his name, frantically and desperately looking for your boyfriend that was until you found him by the docks. tears streamed down his face, his hair was messy and he was still crying

"jason," you said softly as you crouched down beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder. instantly, he wrapped his hands around you, burying his head into your chest, crying as he did so. "he never came looking for me, y/n. he left me, after everything, he never came looking for me, he left me there to die," jason whimpered as he continued to sob. you knew exactly who he was talking about, bruce. "maybe i should just end my life right now, if he never cared why should i even bother to live," he added on. "jason peter todd don't you fucking say that, i'm not going to let you die. you have people here that love you, i love you. and we're here to help, you need to understand that this life is worth living, so give me a week to change your mind,"

tim drake―
kidnapped was the word to use. you thought it was stupid that people actually thought that they would gain information about your boyfriend if they took you as a hostage. tim had always made you stay back, he refused for you to take upon a role that could cause your death which made you stay in the batcave with barbara. you hated staying in the batcave, you wanted to do more. so you chose to sneak out, looking for some crime to stop. but it ended up with you being captured instead

you were determined to escape on your own, and from the looks of it, you were close to doing just the thing. but tim was smarter than you, he had placed a tracker on the necklace that he had given you as a present, allowing for him to track you down and save you. you two didn't speak for three days. tim was mad that you betrayed his trust and you were made that tim invaded your privacy. things were not going well between the two of you

"why y/n? why did you go behind my back?" he asked finally breaking the silence between you two. "i'm sick and tired of being your girl in the chair, tim. i want to do more than sit and tell you information about your mission," you snapped as you crossed your arms over your chest. "y/n, you were kidnapped!" "i wasn't exactly prepared for that! but you used this necklace to track me!" "i did it to make sure you were safe! but you went looking for crime!" "i went looking for a crime so that we could work together! but i guess i was wrong,"

damian wayne―
you had been keeping a secret from damian for a while. it was breaking your heart that you couldn't muster up the courage to tell him but you thought that he would break up with you, leave you all alone. and you didn't want your relationship to be on the line. and so you continued to fight crime with him as bloodline, holding onto that secret, hoping that you wouldn't have to spill it anytime soon. it was a can of worms that you didn't want to be opened

but it soon turned open as robin found out your secret the hard way. you found yourself fighting against your older brother, who just so happened to be working as an operative for the league of shadows, he went by the of lithe and deadly in every way. you couldn't face yourself to take him down, you ended up letting him go, not managing to put your brother behind bars. but damian noticed it all. after all the commotion was over, he saw you take down your mask, tears brimming your eyes. damain grasped your hand as his other hand cupped your cheek and he asked you why you let him go

"damian, i couldn't," you tried to muster as you looked away from his gaze. "why? y/n, we could have stopped this whole operation! did this operative do something to you?" damian asked as he eyed your behaviour. "i couldn't!" you yelled. you never yelled at damian with such a force and as he watched your hand slip away from his, he felt uneasy. "y/n, what are you not telling me?" he asked wearily. "that league of shadows operative is my brother," you finally stated. damian shook his head, taking a step back as he did so. "no, no! i don't want to believe this!" "damian, i've wanted to tell you for so long but i didn't know how!" only he was gone. you were right. he did leave you.
