breakups and makeups!

dick grayson―
okay let's be honest here, your mind was always going back to dick's explanation as to why you two broke up. no matter how much you wanted to forget about his stupid excuse about "not having a spark" you couldn't help but feel this little ounce of sympathy bursting inside of your body the more your mind was brought back to his stupid smirk, that stupid smile that would make you melt. and here you were again, thinking about him again. unlike the times where you were able to find yourself in wally's arms and just forget about dick entirely, it was as if your mind was forcing you to think about him wherever you were. damn, it was working

you had played your emotions cool for the week, but the more you were pushing away any thought of dick, the more you were pushing wally too. the guy would try everything to be with you and the more he tried to do anything, all he did was remind you of dick. wally was quick to notice everything, shockingly, he had managed to keep it to himself. at first, wally shrugged it off, just thinking that it would be something temporary. he knew that you and dick had encountered one another at the diner but never said much in fear that he would lose you to his best friend. wally knew better to ask about what happened at the diner and yet for some reason, maybe he should have

it was as if you two were being distant, like the same sides of a magnet, never connecting. the more wally would try his hardest to be a good boyfriend, the more you were cursed with memories of your relationship with dick. you knew it wasn't fair to wally to treat him like this. as much as you wanted to call off the relationship, the thought of being alone haunted your mind. you weren't good enough to be with dick and now you weren't good enough to date wally. and as much as your heart called out to your ex-boyfriend you rejected his apology. so how could he take you back?  as for wally, he knew that the relationship was coming to an end. but he was too polite to address it. but the one time he tried to kiss you, you flinched. you never flinched. let's just say that was enough for him to recognize that something was up relationship-wise –and it was time you two had a talk

"y/n, we need to talk," wally started as he made his way over towards you. you were currently sitting at the island in the kitchen, eating some leftovers from dinner yesterday, looking up to see wally with an anxious look as he made his way towards you. "yeah, what's up?" your voice croaked as you tried not to look at him in the eyes. more flashes of dick flooded through your head as you tried to eat your food. "don't get me wrong y/n. i love you, i really do. it's just, i don't think we should be seeing each other anymore," wally explained as he grasped your hands in his, a weary look crossing his face. "wally?" you asked as you chocked back a sob as he pulled his hands away from yours. placing a tender kiss to your lips, you felt the sudden wind and blinked to see wally packed with his things. his hand rested on your cheek once more, brushing back a tear that was about to stream down your cheek. "just tell him you love him y/n," and with those words, he left.

jason todd―
"you're my muse jason todd," you explained as you continued to fix his wound. "i'm your muse?" jason's voice echoed in the form of a question as he heard what you had said. "you mean to tell me that you lied to your millions of fans, the press, the paparazzi, interview hosts, everyone who loves your music –and i guess your boyfriend too that i am actually your muse? y/n! i could have had fans! why didn't you tell anyone?" jason joked as he threw his arms up, a smile blossomed on his face as he looked down on you. your face furiously flushed the colour red as the blush rose back into your cheeks once more. damn, you forgot how good jason was at making you blush.
