Its been a whole week since Amanda saw Brandon last time they met. She anticipated on texting or calling him. Amanda remembered that he had her number. She pulled out her phone to check for messages from him yet. Did he forget about her, Amanda thought to herself.

"Would stop looking at your phone like a lunatic?" Stacey said lowering her phone

"I'm just apprehensive." Amanda said turning her phone over

"That's something I will agree on. He will text you back soon." Stacey said tucking her behind her

"What's going on with you and dreadlocks?" Amanda said changing the subject

"He's cute. I don't think we will be seeing each other." Stacey said while twisting the ends of her hair

"Did he say something wrong?" She ask eating the remainder of her food

"No, I really miss my son's father. I probably sound crazy but I still love him." Stacey said looking away

"Only you know how you feel. So don't feel bad about your decision." Amanda said with a reassuring smile

"Thanks Amanda." Stacey said in a appreciative tone

Amanda and Stacey departed as she walk to the library. As pointless as it seems, Amanda did not want to go to her dorm. She found a table then sat down. Maybe time would go by faster, she thought.

Minutes later, Amanda got up from the table walking out the library. She look at her phone again. There was no notification. She groan stuffing her phone in her back pocket. Amanda fold her arms walking back to the dorms.

She unlock the door fumbling with the key. Amanda open the door then walk inside. Kimberly was on a mat doing her meditation. Amanda walk to the kitchen grabbing her a drink.

"Missing your Tarzan." Kimberly said with her eyes closed

"No and he is not Tarzan." Amanda rolled her eyes

"You look desperate. Why are you wasting your time?" Kimberly open her eyes

"Kimberly just leave it alone." She place the drink down

"If he was into you, don't you think he would be here." Kimberly cross her arms over her chest

"You know nothing about him. Why are you even concern?" Amanda frowned

"Your pathetic." Kimberly said closing her eyes again

Amanda felt tears welled up in her eyes. Was she desparate? Anger came over her then her feet charge towards Kimberly. She push Kimberly down to the floor before walking to her room.

Amanda plop down on her bed with her arms folded. The words Kimberly said to her made her rethink things over. She held back her tears while burying her face in her arms. Amanda heard the sound of the door closing.

"Kimberly get out!" Amanda said harshly

"Hey stranger." A familiar voice spoke to Amanda
