"Clair!" I squirmed as I turned to her in fright
She turned on the lights and walked towards me in concern.
"Are you crying?" She asked
I realised that I hadn't wiped my tears.
I quickly wiped them and smiled
"Oh um, art just makes me cry" I replied.
She raised an eyebrow
"Including my family portrait?" She went around me and saw the two portraits and froze.
She looked at me and back at the portrait.
"Di-did you know the McBeals?" She questioned me
My words were stuck in my throat, I didn't know what to say. She might not be able to handle the truth.
"What truth?" She asked and looked closely at the McBeal portrait.
Especially the area were I was.
Then she looked in shock.
"Are you..." She said but was interrupted before she could finish
"Oh! There you are..." Queen Regina said but paused when she felt the tense aura in the gallery
"Actually..." Clair said and I quickly read her mind.
She wanted to expose me
She knew I was the twin.
I have come up with something
"Clair and I really wanted to admire some art" I smiled stepping ahead of her
Then I turned to her expectantly speaking between my smile.
"Right...Clair?"
I decided to mind talk to her with telepathy.
'Please Clair, I'll explain everything'
Her eyes opened in awe.
'Y-you even have magic and you didn't think of informing anyone?!' She told me
I looked at the queen and blocked our conversation.
I turned to Clair.
'Well Lucas knows' I bit my lip inside
'Are you kidding me?! You told my younger brother but not me?!'
'I just found out Clair!' I struggled to hold back my tears 'Please...'
Clair glared at me for a moment and drew on a smile.
"Yeah, this place is so lovely" She smiled and turned to me "Anyways, its time to get ready, come style me"
'And tell me everything' She told me in a very scary tone Clair has never used before.
