"mike"

eleven and mike quickly walked towards each other, caroline smiling as she watched one of her closest friends and her long lost sister exchange in a warming hug

caroline backed up, standing beside the red headed skater girl she called her best friend

"is that?" max mayfield asked, looking between caroline and lucas

caroline chuckled, watching as she saw the beautiful face of her sister, who she longed to find after spending years separated

lucas nodded his head, watching in shock as the girl everyone thought was gone had killed a demodog, and walked straight into the byers' living room

the two lovers held each other closely, eleven lightly gasping for air as she cried, her smile growing larger every second

"i never gave up on you, i called you every night. every night for-" mike began to say, his smile growing wider as he made eye contact with the girl he once called pretty in his basements bathroom.

"353 days. i heard" eleven gasped, causing mike's smile to fade

"why didnt you tell me you were there? that you were okay?" he questioned softly. he didn't want to offend the girl he loved, but he could only wonder why she didn't reach out to him after all this time

"because i wouldn't let her" hopper cut in, stepping closer to the pair

mike turned around swiftly, questions flooding his mind and shock filling his veins.

"the hell is this? where've you been?" he asked, putting his gun to his side and looking at his almost daughter

"where have you been" eleven emphasized, the you in her sentence much stronger than the one in hopper's.

hopper pulled the girl into a soft hug, she returned it, tears coming from her eyes. as hurt that she was that he had never told her the truth about her birth mother, she loved him like he was her birth father

"you've been hiding her" mike cut in, looking at hopper angrily

"mike-" caroline started, taking a step towards the angered boy

"you've been hiding her this whole time!" mike yelled, throwing his hands towards the chief and pushing caroline back

caroline stumbled back, steve catching her in a trust fall stance as she lost her balance. she groaned as mike had accidentally pushed into her side. he was doing it again, vulnerability in anger form.

"hey! let's talk. alone." hopper insisted, grabbing the angsty boy by his shirt

mike stood shockingly, allowing hopper to lightly push him aside and take him to a room down the hallway of the byers home

before eleven could hug another person, she stopped scanning the room once she saw caroline

caroline instantly lost her disappointment in mike after realizing eleven was looking at her. she began to cry of happiness, she was seeing her sister, someone she hadn't seen in a very long time.
