Hello! Realidad eating me up again. Sorry it took me a while. And this particular snippet I found harder to do than most, bakit? Ang hirap po magsulat ng spg! 😂But it was fun to write though it took me ages. So suffice to say, part two has quite a bit of spg in it. I found inspiration actually one night when I was driving to work and the radio played one of my favorite song "Laughter in the rain" and I immediately thought of our two favorite pluviophiles. I initially thought of writing a family snippet then Alden's igs post "back to basics" made me want to go back to basics too where there were still only the two of them. 💑💏

It was a saturday afternoon, the 24th of March. Richard and Maine had just finished EB for the day. They were getting ready to pack their stuff and go. All of a sudden she turned to him.
M: Love, Tagaytay tayo.
R: Ngayon?
M: Yes, why? May lakad ka?
R: Lakad ko? With you, wherever you want to go. Taped ang SPS tomorrow remember, I don't have any rehearsals. So if you want Tagaytay, then Tagaytay we go. Where in Tagaytay?
M: Our place. *smiles*
R: *smiles back and hugs M* Let's go.

Richard discovered it by accident. There was one time he offered to drop Sixto, one of his head waiters at his restaurant Concha's in Tagaytay, near his home. They just finished an all nighter checking inventories and didn't finish til around 4:30AM so he offered to drop him off. It turns out Sixto lives near the lake. The general area when his waiter lives was one breath short of stunning and is completely private. The back which is accessible only by a foot path and is within private property, offers a raw yet stunning and unobstructed view of Taal Lake and the volcano. There Richard witness the sunrise and was so mesmerized by the beauty and privacy of the place that he vowed to bring his ladylove when he returns. And said ladylove, Maine, was not disappointed. She was speechless as they stayed up and witness the sunrise. Since then they dubbed it "Our Place". The very few people who lives in the area and knew that this couple goes there, knows how to keep quiet and "not see" a thing. Richard pays them well and treats them and the area with respect and courtesy and they always will tell ahead of time as much as possible if they will drop by.
Today, Taal Volcano is very visible and the rolling greens are remarkable. The view is still quite breath-taking, and no matter how many times they've been there it never fails to impress them. The late afternoon sun is still shining and there is a soft breeze around them. Maine shivering a bit from the breeze, hugged RJ and snuggled on his chest. He wrapped his arms around her tightly and kissed the top of her head. Her next words sent an even colder shiver down his spine.
