The party was the whole talk of the school the first day back, my name always seemed to come up in everyone's conversations whilst they were talking about it
Eating my lunch I look around the cafeteria and frown when I notice a lot people staring right at me before whispering to one another, or some just plainly staring at me
Shrinking into my seat from being uncomfortable I look away from everyone and back to the table in front of me
"Why is everyone looking at me like that?" I ask the lads who just smirk at me knowingly
"Your the whole talk Ashley, about how hot you looked and some people are spreading rumours about you and Hannah being together" Jason takes a large bite from the sandwich he stole from my tray, I wasn't that hungry anyways so I didn't mind
"People really can't mind their own businesses, and that is the first and last time I am ever wearing a dress" I shiver causing them all to laugh at my reaction
"Speaking of Hannah..." Alex smiles over my shoulder waving someone over to our table
They are never going to drop this
Hannah, Sara and Diana and the people who he called over, they all take a seat at the table and everyone greets each other, Hannah takes a seat on my right as Max sits to my left
"Hello" she smiles at me, I smile back at her "hey"
"Did you enjoy the party?" She asks trying to hide a cheeky grin, laughing lightly I nod "I had a great night, did you enjoy it?"
"Fuck yeh I did"
We both laugh together causing a few heads to turn to our table
"So Hannah, how are you enjoying the school so far?" Max asks her starting up a conversation, I zone out as they all begin talking about school and some other stuff, it shocks me when two hands land on my shoulders
"You're wanted Collins"
I immediately know who the voice belongs to and only one person calls me Collins, when I turn around slightly it confirms my guesses when Cole stands there looking down at me
"By who?"
"Coach" he answers simply moving out of my way for me to get up, standing up I pass everyone at the table a small smile as some look confused and some just look at Cole, the girls look at Cole, excluding Hannah who is looking at me with an unreadable expression
"I will be back whenever, Max you better keep me a muffin in baking class if I am not back"
He laughs nodding his head, I walk away from the table following Cole, he oozes with confidence not noticing how everyone has their attention on him and if he does he doesn't pass a bit of remarks on it
"Coach might be starting soccer again"
I stop in my tracks, I can't help the slight excited smile that makes its way onto my face
Cole stops and turns to me with a confused look as to why I stopped walking
"You're serious right?"
He nods confirming my question, I cheer not giving a damn who hears me, Cole laughs at my reaction, his laugh causes me to smile more and I don't even know why
"Are you joining the team?" I ask him as we start walking again side by side down the empty hall only a few students passing us every now and then with curious looks pointed in our direction
"I won't be able to go to practice every time its on, but hopefully yes"
"I heard you are amazing at sports" I say remembering how the guys had told me everything about Cole on the way back from the party randomly, I don't even know how he was brought up into the conversation
