||Delusion ||

"Krishnaa!" I heard the voice I was yearning to hear, I forced my eyes to open and saw the best warrior of the world, my husband, the father of my unborn child, standing there with all his glory

"Y-you came!" I asked in a whisper as tears flowed, Arjun kneeled down and pulled me in his arms, wrapping his mighty arms around me,  his warmth enveloped into my cold self

I hugged him more tightly and sobbed "You are so bad Arjun! Why did you leave us? I thought I lost you! I thought I would never meet you again and...and our son...I thought I lost him too, wha..."

"Shhh...." He kissed my forehead and then on my closed eyes and spoke  " how can I let that happen? Even If I am unable I'll pray to my Madhav and he will help you out for sure!"

I looked at him and he smiled at me, "But it can be our 'Daughter' too" he winked at me, I smiled and closed my eyes in immense  relief

But suddenly Arjun got up and Looked down at me "I will always be with you Krishnaa!" He whispered before emerging into the darkness

"Arjun!!!" I got up and looked around,

"Arjun!!" I screamed "Please don't do that Arjun!! It's not the time for your tantrums, they will kill our child!" I got up,d looked around the small prison

I went to the guard and asked anxiously "where is my husband!! Where did he go!!"

"What are you talking about?" The guard asked me with confusion

"Don't act, I know he was here!! Where did he go!! Did you trick him? No no no,  you can't, hehe.." I held my head which was spinning dangerously

"He ......he was here!" I murmured to myself

"She lost her mind" I heard a guard saying to another

"Poor Yuvrani, he didn't eat anything from two days, another one said

"I think the baby is already dead!" They said

Arjun was a delusion? He didn't come, did he? I bit my lower lip to stop the sob which was threating to come out

"I hate you Arjun! If I lost my child, I will never forgive you, even if I died,  I will never forgive you, You have promised to protect me always, but you are failing Arjun!" I closed my eyes placing my hand on my stomach,

I can't lose my child, please Govind, please save us

Arjuna's POV

"I think we should rest now Rajkumar!" My charioteer said,

On my way back to Indraprasth, when I got a letter from my eldest, the Yakshas attacked Indraprasth suddenly, and they were almost uncomfortable, Jyeshth wanted me to tackle them

I cursed those yakshas, I was beyond excited to meet Krishnaa,

I could easily defeat them within the second but I knew I shouldn't use my divine weapon for such silly wars

"I think we should keep going!" I said to him

"But others and the horses are very tired, I don't think they could make it!" He said in a pleading tone and I sighed,

"Okay then!"

That night I couldn't sleep, I was so excited to meet Krishnaa I was sure she wouldn't talk to me but I had my ways to specify her and I knew Yajnaseni was unable to restrict my charm

A smile formed in my lips thinking about her, I was sure we would have a little cute fight on if its bot or girl, we already did that even before her pregnancy,

I couldn't believe she was caring for my child, our child, a tiny me or Krishna or we both??

I was completely grinning like a foolish, I was already in love with my child,

I was almost asleep when someone called me in a panic tone

"Rajkumar Arjun!" I looked up at my charioteer and got up sensing it might be serious or else he wouldn't have called me

"Yes ?" I got up, I could see the sweats on his forehead

"W-we have a b-bad...news," he said bending his head and my heart skipped a bit as suddenly Krishnaa's smiling face came in my mind

Is it anything related to her? No no, it can't be! Is it about our child?? Did Krishna have any miscarriage!

Why I'm thinking like that, it's not even about Krishnaa, I'm sure

"What am it?" I asked anxiously but he kept silent

"Don't test my patient Pranajay ! Tell me!" I roared in anger and he was taken aback

It was the first time I yelled or showed my anger on him but I couldn't help, why wasn't he speaking up?

He gestured someone to come and a skinny man whom I recognised as Sanjay's son, came

"Pranipat Rajkumar ! " he bowed and I urged him to tell the news

"What happened?"

"Yuvrani Panchali..... She...she is missing!" He stuttered

"She what?" I asked in disbelief, I couldn't believe my own ears, Krishnaa, my wife? The yuvrani of Hastinapur was missing

"Umm...yes, it's been four days!" He bends his head

"You are kidding? No one will dare to kidnap a royal lady, too my wife! Everyone knows what can I do, did Krishnaa send you to make me feel this way because I didn't return early?" I asked

"If she did, tell her its the worst joke or way to take revenge," I said as my eyes felt wet

"No Rajkumar, you  have to believe me and come to Hastinapur" he pleadingly, I didn't even hear him and climbing on my horse, stormed to hastinapur

"You can't leave me Krishnaa, I'm coming..." I said in a whisper
