Gal POV

It's been a couple of days and I did nothing. I stayed in my office trying to forget Amara, but nothing works

She was my first love. She is the love of my life

I was at my office now and I got a phone call. I panicked and look who it was thinking it was Amara, but it was just Amanda. I grabbed my phone and answered it

"Hello?" I said "Did you do it? Zack needs you" She said and I tried hard not to cry "Y-Yeah" I said quietly "AMAZING! You're a hero! I'll tell Zack right now!" She said then hanged up

I sigh thinking about my future without Amara

THIS IS ALL MY FAULT! I slammed my desk

Amara was telling the truth that she's quitting as an intern. I saw her resignation letter still on my table. I haven't touched the letter yet. I kept her ring on my finger.

I grabbed her resignation letter and opened it.

I saw her resignation letter, but I also saw another paper in the envelope

I took out the resignation letter and put it to the side. I grabbed the other paper in the envelope. The paper was folded in half.

On the front it said 'Gal'

I got nervous and opened it fully and read it

To, the love of my life, my muffin, my baby, my everything.

You might be wondering why I put this letter in my resignation envelope and honestly I don't know why. You were right though, Zack needs you more than me. This is why I'm letting you go.

It was an amazing time with you. I love when you always get mad when I don't give you kisses or hugs. I remember always waking up in the morning next to you. My heat will always flutter when I'm with you. You lit up every dark space in my heart. I remember my first kiss and my first time with you. I remember the first time I saw you. I was only here for an interview, but you changed my life. I remember when I felt my heart flutter for the first time. I remember when you asked me out.

We may not be together right now, but please let me go. I know you're struggling right now without me. Please let me go so you could do so much good things in life.
