Prompt: Ft. their chubster toddler Jena

*****

Despite their hard earned fame, as a well respected artist and the first (And only) woman football player to enter the NFL (not to mention win several titles already), Jisoo and Jennie Kim-Kim were not above sneaking away on a sweltering summer day, down to the beach.

Yes, they had an extravagant pool in the yard of their extravagant manor, complete with fountains and a number of garages that could only be described as "Jenxtra". But sometimes it wasn't enough.

Jisoo had sought the sound of the waves, and the way the sun would peek from the clouds to gently kiss her skin, and so- she murmured, offhandedly to Jennie, that it would be fun to spend a day at the beach.

And Jennie wasn't one to deny her wife anything.

So, with great effort to pick a secluded beach (because the thought of getting swarmed with cameras while being in a bikini still made Jisoo cringe), the family had set off to enjoy themselves.

After Jennie had put one of those godly muscular arms to work by digging the umbrella in with a single hand, and setting out a towel and a chair or two, the family sunk into the golden sand.

Fish, their loyal dog, was panting excitedly as Jena stroked his fur, watching as he made a place for himself in the shade of the umbrella.

Jena was terribly excited to play in the waves, looking positively adorable in her green single piece bathing suit, which she'd shrieked upon finding at the store, vehemently insisting to Jisoo, "It momma's!" (Jisoo later learned that she was desperately trying to communicate that it looked similar to Jennie's bikini, in a vaguely similar shade of green, and being the fangirl she was- she wanted to match).

Jisoo smiled amusedly at the thought, feeling two arms wrap around her, while Jena plopped down before them impatiently, waiting for her moms to actually do something.

Jisoo glanced behind her, feeling something within her stir when she got a look at Jennie's chiseled, sleek body in her bikini, tattoos glazed under the light of the sun, hair pulled back in a messy bun.

Jisoo's heart skipped a beat, and she felt her mouth go dry.

She still couldn't believe she was married to Jennie Rubyjane Kim. It would never really sink in, she was sure. She still blushed like an idiot in Jennie's presence.

"Mrs. Kim-Kim." Jennie drawled, dropping a kiss to her neck.

Jisoo glanced around warily, instinctively.

"It's okay, we're alone, love." Jennie assured softly, pointing in the direction of the beach bar and restaurant, all the way down the strip. "That's where everyone is."

"It's just strange, being alone without security anymore. I've almost forgotten what it feels like."

At the word security, Jena perked up, smiling curiously. "Nyko?" She asked in her toddler drawl, tilting her head like a puppy.

Jennie grinned at Jena's recognition of her old teammate turned security. "He's not here, baby girl. That's what we're talking about." She cooed in a soft voice.

"Oh." Jena nodded, seeming to accept the answer, turning her attention back to playing with the sand.

Jennie nodded understandingly back at Jisoo. "You're not usually worried about these things, Jisoo..." Her wife was usually carefree and quite comfortable in the public eye. It was a strange change of pace.
