i'm still here dw.

'And that's the story of how I locked your dad in a broom closet with Professor McGonagall..'
A distant door slammed and a small voice of sorry was directed at no one in particular. Sirius froze as he heard footsteps coming up the stairs, he kissed the boy on the head and exited the room, closing the door to slowly and casting a one way silencing charm on the doorway, so Harry couldn't listen in but they would be able to hear him if he got upset.
'Remus listen...I...'
'Stop that and give me a hug.' Remus decided that it wasn't the time for a deep chat when, although being unable to listen, his godson was in the other room.
They looked at each other with contrasting looks in their eyes, Sirius' of concern but care and Remus' of reassurance.
'What's the plan for tomorrow?' The moment disappeared in an instant.
'Well.. We discussed the possibility of Harry's decreased eyesight and I think it might be a good idea to get them checked out by a muggle eye doctor.' Remus considered before adding, 'although I can take him on my own if you're busy, I don't want to assume that you're..'
'Re,' Sirius interrupted with a slight smile on his face, 'I can come, he's my kid too you know.'
My kid.
The word coming out of his.....friends? mouth was amazing, they were so lucky to have some point in raising the young boy and were thankful for that every day.

Remus went in a couple of hours later to raise the boy from his nap, picked out a pair of light grey shorts and asked Harry to pick a t-shirt, he picked a red one with a golden snitch and the words 'I'm Seekin' out your heart' underneath it. He raised his eyebrows at the choice knowing truly that this was James' sons, not only because of his looks but because of the bubbly personality and gryfindoor-esque rash decisions he made that just screamed James Potter.
Harry rubbed his eyes and held up his arms for Remus to carry him down the stairs, he obliged and took Harry to the dining table where he sat expectedly next to Sirius who was looking at job ads in a muggle newspaper.
'What do you think of this one Re?' He directed at Remus who was cutting up cucumber for Harry's snack before they left the house.
'WANTED, a popular pet food brand is looking for a person to test their newest delicacy, must be honest and have a strong tolerance to various foods and no allergy's or intolerances, a HUMAN, Re!'
Remus had never raised his eyebrows higher as he tried to work through the maze that was Sirius' thought process.
'I'm a human.' He stated almost proudly.
'Really Sirius I would never have guessed.' The werewolf rolled his eyes and gave Harry some cut up veggies and some humous.
'I could do that.'
Remus snorted. 'Go on then I dare you to apply and see where it takes you.'
'Ok i will'
'Fine'
'Fine'
Harry looked at them both with a dazed expression on his face, unsure whether or not they were arguing or not, something he had seen his Aunt and Uncle do in the past but was yet to witness it first hand from his new guardians.
They then both burst out laughing unable to keep their joke going much longer.
Harry, sort of understanding now laughed too and the men looked at their godson with an awe at his high pitched laugh that resembled chiming bells and decided to join him in on the fun.
'You're not laughing at me are you Harry.' Sirius said with a smirk as the cubs face dropped.
'Do you know what happens to little boys who laugh?'
Remus picked him up out of the booster chair and put his jacket on as Harry looked extremely confused.
'They get tickled.' Harry Shrieked and tried to run away.
And that's how the neighbours found Two men and a 4 year old running around the street trying to tickle one another.

I didn't update because I was getting over Endgame.
