Chapter 39

I wake up on the couch with a blanket around me. I run my eyes and sit up. I stand up and look through my phone to see if Sam came or not, I see the text I sent and his, he did. I smile and call Sam.

"Hello?"

"I'm stable now. Also, what did I say?"

"Nothing really. You just rambled on about random things. Nothing really important."

"Nothing embarrassing, right?"

"No, not really"

"What the fuck did I say?"

"Nothing. It doesn't matter"

"Okay, thanks for looking after me. I promise I'll pay you back for it."

"Wha-no! You've given me enough tucking money"

"Then I'll do something for you"

I sigh

"Fine"

I throw away the trash on the counter

"What do you want me to do for you?"

"I don't really care"

I smile

"I have to do something for you"

"Then you think of it."

"What are you doing Friday to next Friday?"

"Probably nothing."

"Do you like Disney world?"

"Hells ya. But it's really expensive"

"I don't care, you're going to go and you can bring whoever you want"

"Wha-"

"Okay, so who are you gonna take?"

"Oh uh...How about Jake?"

"Alright, I'm gonna warn you don't let Jake get no sleep. He'll get really clingy and shit"

"Clingy?"

"Yeah. just don't let him get tired, okay?"

I chuckle

"Ok."

"Pack your bags, you're going to Disney world Friday"

"Wha-Oh um ok."

"You're welcome"

I say and take out my laptop to order the plane ticket and the tickets to Disney World.

I don't say anything and put the phone on speaker and grab a bag and start putting shit in it.

"I literally just got finished unpacking."

"Stop whining or I'll pack a bag for you"

I say and order the two plane tickets.

"That's not needed I'm already done."

I smile and we talk for a while longer.

I look at the time and realize I'm late for work

"Shit."

"What?"

I ask him.

"I'm late for work," I say and grab my uniform and change really quick.

"Oh fuck, sorry"

"No, it's fine."

"Alright, have fun at work."

I say and hang up.
