Chapter 64

"Are you hungry?"

"Yeah"

"Do you want to go out to eat?"

"Sure, where to?"

"Where ever you want"

"Chipotle?"

I smile

"Sure"

We walk out to my car.

"Where's the keys?"

"I'm driving"

"Come on"

"I'm driving," I say again as I sit in the front seat.

I smile and shake my head then get in the passengers' seat.

I start the car and drive to chipotle.

We get there and get a table.

I got my phone out.

I take out my phone and Sam takes a picture

I smile

"Cute"

I smile and look down at my phone

"You say that a lot"

"Manly. How's that?"

"That's basically the only word you've said since we started dating"

"What's wrong with cute?"

"Nothing, it's just-"

I sigh

"Can I ask you about your and Kat's relationship?"

"Um sure?"

I turn my phone off and sit it down

"Be honest, were you happier with her than you are with me?"

"No, I'm really happy with you"

"And you're not just saying that?"

"Of course not"

"Do you think I got in the way?"

"What do you mean?"

"Of the relationship, with me making Kat cheat"

"She had done it before. I wasn't surprised."

"Wait, what?"

I was surprised.

I shrug.

"With who?"

I bite the inside of my cheek and look down.

"Sam"

"Brennen"

My eyes widen

"W-When?"

"A couple of months before you...'

I bite my lip and I start shaking and my eyes start to water. I stand up and go to the bathroom.

I sigh and bite my cheek.

I go to a stall and lock the door. I sit down, put my head in my hands and start crying while shaking a lot.

I know I shouldn't have said anything.
