I open the door and see Devyn. I quickly stand up straight. She looks so- fuck! No, I can't do this again with her!

(Devyn)

"Hey"

"I-I Uhm, hey"

Fuck. I can feel Sam staring at me.

"Could we maybe hang out?"

"W-Why?"

Stop fucking studdering Cole!!

(Devyn)

"I miss you"

My eyes widen a bit

"Uhh... Uhm yeah- sure. W-When?"

"Uhm...How about now?"

"What about tonight?"

(Devyn)

"Oh well I'm hanging out with Kat and Tara tonight"

"Fuck"

I whisper to myself

"I can't do now. Sorry, Dev. What about tomorrow"

"We'll see I guess..."

"S-Sorry"

I say. I feel bad. But I don't want Sam to get mad.

"It's fine" I smile and start walking away.

I smile

"See ya"

When he closes the door I grab my things and say

"I'm gonna go."

I close the door. He looks mad

"Are you mad?"

"No, not at all."

"Did I do something?"

"No."

I walk over to him and try to kiss him but he turns his head

"What'd you do?"

"Nothing. I'm going back to my place. See you later." I say and start walking to the door.

I grab his hand

"Tell me what I did. I don't like you mad at me"

"It's nothing. You can hang out with Devyn. I don't want to get in your way."

My eyes widen a bit

"In the way of what? You're my boyfriend Sam."

I shrug.

"Why do you even think-"

He cuts me off and snaps at me.

"It's nothing Colby. Just drop it."

"I can't just drop it Sam. I don't want you mad at me. And I want to know why you think that"

"Oh my god"

"Well I don't understand why one second you're fine and happy and I go and answer the door then come back and you're just mad at me. Why are you just suddenly mad at me?"

I look up at him

"You only stutter when you're nervous. And you were stuttering a hell of a lot when you were talking to her."

"Sam, it means nothing. I just haven't seen her in a while, that's all"

I nod and try to walk out again.

I let him go and close the door behind him. I sit down on the chair. I take out my phone and call Devyn I can hang out. She asks if I want to go to a party and I say sure. Guess we're going to a party
