(3rd person POV)

Magica de Spell laughed as her enemy fell into the tons of money below her, finally killing Scrooge McDuck... Or so she thought. The evil sorceress smiled evilly at the duck's, seeing the fear and pain in their eyes. She pointed her staff at the family, feeling the adrenaline of victory running through her veins.

"I can't believe you all care about a human like she's one of your own. It's pathetic, and she only got your "poor" uncle Scrooge killed!" Donald Duck stepped in front of his family, knowing he needed to keep them safe. He glared at Magica, tears falling from his eyes. "She was one of us, Magica. She was part of our family, and always will be." The boys nodded behind Scrooge, not able to hold their tears either.

Magica laughed at Donald. "You really are gullible, aren't you Duck?" She floated down to him, putting a hand on her hip. "She was using you and your family to get home. She never loved any of you! Humans don't feel love." Webby kicked Magica in the face, crying herself. "(Y/n) did love us! She was like a big sister to me! First you take Lena, and now Scrooge and (Y/n)! You're a monster!"

Magica rolled her eyes and pointed the staff at the family again. "I'm getting sick of this. Time for you all to die." Her staff lit up, and Donald and Mrs. Beakley stood in front of the kids, all of them closing their eyes tightly. Just then, a gold coin hit Magica's hand, knocking the staff out of her hands and onto the board below her. Everyone gasped as they saw Scrooge McDuck and (Y/n) Patch standing on the tons of gold alive.

(Y/n POV)

"Did I surprise ya Magica?" Scrooge smirked, tossing a coin up and down in his hand. Magica turned to him with a shocked expression. "How did you survive from that fall!?" Scrooge looked at me and nodded with a wink. I smiled and looked up at Magica. "I forgot to mention, human bones are as strong as diamonds." Everyone looked at me and made a 'ooo' noise. Magica growled. "No matter, now you can watch your family die Scrooge!" She went to point her staff at the family, but forgot she didn't have it.

Webby saw the staff on the ground and ran to it, picking it up just before Magica reached it. "Give it to me, you little brat!" She swung at Webby, but the little duckling was way to coordinated to get caught. She ran into the main room, everyone following her. Scrooge and I raced to the ladder. I started to climb when I saw Scrooge fly next to me with his cane. He held out his hand and I grabbed it, flying out of the pit within a matter of seconds.

We ran out of the money bin, following the others to the outside. Dewey had the staff now, and he was running away from the mansion. The other two boys were helping him get away, while Donald, Webby, and Mrs. Beakley were fighting Magica. Scrooge looked at me. "Go help the boys with the staff, I'll help fight Magica." I nodded, both of us having a stern look on our face. I ran after the boys, catching up with them quickly.

They smiled and stopped, hugging me. "I knew you weren't dead!" Dewey said excitedly. "Are your bones really made of diamonds?" Louie asked, with a follow up elbow nudge from Huey. "She said as strong as, not made of." I put Dewey on my back and picked up the other two boys. They were really light, like, surprisingly light. "I'll answer all questions later, just hold on to that staff Dewey!" With that, I started to run, but not without catching the attention of Magica.
