Claire walked along her bedroom hallway, listening contently to the click of her heeled boots, her hands holding onto the gift bag as she flicked at a piece of her bangs that hung loosely in front of her eyes.
Coming up to the stairs, she could hear the commotion of guests arriving, music playing. The strobe lights reached where she stood, but she couldn't find Tony anywhere below her. She turned on the spot, walking back down the hallway and straight past her door.
