"Is your head still hurting?" Jisoo asked while im tying up my shoelace
"Not that much" i answered and stood up "im going now" i said making jisoo nod as i walk towards Seulgi's door to peek inside seeing her laying down staring into the distance "Seul,ill go now" i said and went out of the dorm. I put everything on the car as i drove off to the hospital
I went to the elevator being greeted by many people as usual. I walk straight to my office and changed into my scrubs and a white coat over it. I was about to sit down when Jennie Kim pops out on my mind so i look at our hospital's page to see some information about her and its not much but enough for me to know some basic things about her. I stood up and went out since it says that shes working as a general surgeon so she might be on the emergency room or operating room.
"Hey" i said approaching the girl on the counter and she look up at me and wear her most flirty smile
"Doctor Manoban,hey" she said still smiling widely "what can i do for you" i look around while still staying at my place to see if Jennie's around before looking back at the girl
"Is Doctor Kim already here?" I asked giving her a smile as well since she probably will ask 'why' and flashing my smile towards them will just lead them to answering
"Yes, she arrived at 6am" she said.. well that's really early "there's an emergency patient so surgeons are called that early" she explains not getting her eyes off of me
"Is she still inside the operating room?" I asked making her nod "alright thank you" i said leaving her there as i walk back towards my office to call in a nurse telling her to assist patients to my office.
Lunch break comes and I immediately run towards the emergency room. I don't have an idea as to why I'm doing this but I'm having fun seeing Jennie's pissed off face towards me.
Once i made it to the ER the same nurse from earlier look towards me smiling amusingly
"Long operation " she shouted a bit since we're meters away from each other so i nodded and walks back.
"Oh! Lisa" i looked up seeing irene walking through the hallways as well
"Hey.. you're going to Jennie?" I asked making her nod slowly like she's confused as to why i know
"she's operating since earlier and the nurse said that it'll be a long operation" i said making her raise her brows
"And how do you know that?" She asked smirking
"I wanted to piss her off earlier before i start my checkups but she's already operating" i said
"I haven't seen Jennie so pissed off of someone " she said chuckling "are you gonna go grab lunch? let's go together" she insisted so i just nodded as we start walking out of there
We go to the lobby which has a couple of restaurants and a café. We walk towards a restaurant and ordered food enough for the both of us.
"How long have you been bestfriends with Jennie?" I asked looking at Irene who started eating already..
"Ill say a couple of years already like when she first came here in the hospital.. im working already and i can see that she's struggling and yeah i talked to her and we became inseparable like sisters and we just clicked till now" she explains while looking at her food
"She seems very cold towards other people" i said honestly cause that's what i think
"Jennie's kinda off when it comes to other people but she's not that cold and annoyed unlike when it comes to you" she said making my brows furrowed "im not even joking right now.. i knew Jennie for a long time and believe me she never gets mad at any person like that" she said chuckling
"why do you think is she mad at me? I didn't do anything wrong as far as i know and she was the one who layed down on that hospital bed without even checking if someone else was there" i explained
"Shes tired that day tho.. i really dont know the exact reason but if you want Jennie to be your friend or if you want her to be comfortable towards you like she is to me then you'll need a lot of patience " she said making me nod as we continue eating.
Once we're done eating Irene heads off first since she's being called back to work already while i checked if i have patients already but there's no one so i decide to go to the café just next to the restaurant that irene and I ate earlier.
"1 americano" i said and the girl right behind the counter immediatly nod with a huge smile on her face as she take my card and swiped it. I waited for it before i head towards a table and stays there taking a sip from my coffee time to time.
When the door made a noise i look over and saw the familiar short brunette with her scrubs and white coat on as she entered the café. She didn't even bother looking around as she walk towards the counter to order so i stood up and before she can even hand her card towards the girl i hand out my card making her look up at me
"Long day Dr. Kim? Haven't seen you since earlier" i stated as she roll her eyes and grabbed her drink
"Ill transfer money to your card" she said wanting to pay the coffee
"Don't worry about it.. it's the hospital's card so i didnt really pay anything for you" I said chuckling but she kept her poker face on as she turn around so i immediately grab her arm carefully "why are you avoiding me Jennie?"
"It's Dr. Kim" she stated firmly "hands off.... now" i pulled my hand out from the authority of her voice... that's scary
"Why do you ignore me Jennie? If it's about the other day then I'm sorry if i was the one in the wrong " i said but she didnt say anything and just walked out of the café without even glancing at me for once
