I stared at my phone, it was on the counter mocking me. I could hear whoever broke in, destroying and yelling profanities in the next room. I have one chance and one chance only to get to that phone. It's my one way ticket for those kids and myself to get out of here. I took in a deep breath but before I could make my move someone covered my mouth from behind, turning me around.

"Shh, were are the kids now?" Ben whispered, taking his hand off my mouth and placing it back on his gun.

I sighed in relief, "Upstairs, closet, we have a secret room in case of emergency's..." I whispered.

"Okay, I'll distract them you go and get help, got it."

"But-"

"No but's, I'll protect those kids." Was all he said before leaving. He didn't see the phone, no matter what, I'm still going after it.

I ran towards it on my tip toes, I barely had time to grab it before I heard the click of a gun from behind me. I had no choice but to shove the phone in my shirt, highly uncomftable, totally doable.

"Oh Blossom, honey." A voice mocked from behind me.

I slowly turned around, "Blade..."

"Who else would it be, babe?" He smirked, walking towards me.

"Where's Ben?!"

"Ben? Oh you must mean Kevin!" He chuckled before grabbing my arm and pulling me to him.

"Kevin?" I whispered.

"Yeah, my inside man, he did a great job too." His eyes flew down to my belly and his smirk vanished, "Where are they, Blossom?"

"Like I'd tell you!" I snapped.

"Boss, she said their hiding in one of the closets upstairs, theirs a hidden room in which every closet they're in." Ben- Kevin said.

I glared at him, he is so lucky I don't have my superpowers or I'd kill him. I intend to keep that promise.
