first person pov 3 - Hyunjin

The photo is absolutely stunning. The angle at which the photo is taken divides the photo evenly, a stunning pink sky on the left with a shock of orange cutting the picture in half. The silhouettes are centered, their hands meeting where the colors of the sky meet, and the personality of the chairs and the people mirror the colors and complexities of the sky. It is so meticulously planned out and executed, I'm floored.

I screenshot the picture and set it as the wallpaper on my phone, only the home screen though, so it's more likely that he doesn't see. I shut off my phone and plug it in, turning off my light.

The large window by my bed lets in all of the light reflected off the moon. I can see everything in front of me in hazy detail, my windowsill and the books on my nightstand. I quietly take out the camera stashed under my bed and try to capture it on film. It's largely unsuccessful but I'm unbothered, buzzing off the moments Seungmin and I spent together. He's fascinating, so layered and protected. It's addicting.

I stash the camera and turn back onto my side, staring out the window. It's late. I should be asleep.

But I'm wide awake and I know it's futile to try to sleep now. I shuffle out of bed and peer out my window, trying to find Seungmin's bedroom window. A light is on in the top level, you can see it through his windows. I flick on my light momentarily, hoping to catch his attention.

He looks down through the window to see me and grins, reaching over to a light switch on his wall.

His lights go on and off rhythmically, and it takes me a minute to realize it's morse code. I start to shake my head, but an idea pops into my head. I smirk up and him and reach for my phone.

I find a morse code translator online and type in my message. Finding my light switch on the wall I start to flash the message to him.

.. -.. --- -. ·----· - -.- -. --- .-- -- --- .-. ... . -.-. --- -.. .

He starts to write it down before realizing what I'm saying.

"I don't know morse code"

He's laughs, caught off guard, and it's the most wonderful sight.

He holds his finger up to the window, one minute, and leaves my line of sight.

A second later he holds a piece of lined paper to the window.

Got me. You on to see pictures tomorrow night?

I nod.

He pulls the paper back and writes something.

See you then. You like Starbursts?

I nod again and he smiles. He writes something quickly and flashes it against the window.

Good

He smirks as he pulls the paper away, and then the light goes off in his room.

And even though moments ago I felt like I couldn't sleep, as soon as my head hits my pillow I'm dreaming.
