A smile came onto her face and as she went to speak- the door opened.

"Times up" my nurse smiled to us, letting her guardians in, at least I knew one of their names now.

I shook their hands, exchanging little hellos.

"Not much more of an update today-" "she needs shots, Doctor Hemmings" the small one spoke.

I nodded slowly.

"She told me-" "oh- at least she told you" Blake laughed out loudly.

"I have a friend who is a general doctor, I can ask him right now if he can squeeze her in" I spoke- seeing relief almost immediately flood both of their faces.

I called Calum, hearing him immediately pick up

"What are you doing right now?" I asked.

"Just paperwork- wanna go get something to eat-" I cut him off

"Could you squeeze in a patient for some shots?" I asked, hearing him immediately respond

"Of course, bring them over"

"We can go now" I spoke mainly to the two men.

I noticed as we walked over there, they acted as if she was diseased.

They didn't touch her, they kept distance between themselves and her- it was almost sad to watch.

I caught her wrist as we walked, gently pulling her to walk beside me, which caught her off guard.

I didn't say anything, I just made her walk close to me.

She didn't have to walk by them, especially when they were acting as if there was something wrong with her.

We got to one of Calum's exam rooms, immediately seeing him in a room, joining him.

"Doctor Hood" he shook the men's hands, I kept my hand on Mila's shoulder, just giving her nervous body a hand of support.

"This is Mila" I introduced her to him as he extended his hand, realization flying through his face as they shook hands.

"Doctor Hood, but you can call me Calum" he spoke simply, understanding exactly who she was as she gave the smallest smile to him.

"So, shots?" He spoked, looking to her guardians.

"She has absolutely no shot record." Blake spoke out, making Calum's eyebrows raise.

Calum double checked through a few systems, seeing if her name pulled up anywhere, confirming that it was true- she had no shot record.

"Okay- well, we have a lot of catching up to do, we need to start with a blood draw to make sure there's nothing already in your system, after getting those results, we'll go ahead and give you all of the shots you're missing, which will be about eight or nine shots" he spoke to her slowly, getting absolutely no reaction.

"That's fine" Blake chimed in from the corner of the room.

"Well- you can go ahead and get on the bed- I'm sure she would like it if one of you comforted her-" "I'm blood sensitive and I pass out when I see it, so I'm going to leave, Blake and I are going to sit right outside, if she needs anything just open the door, I'll send Blake in" the small one spoke, making Calum immediately shift his gaze to Mila as they left the room.

"You okay doing this alone?" He asked her- not that she had much of a choice.

She gave the smallest shrug, her eyes looking to her hands.
