Once our hour was up, we walked out together, going to Blake and Griffin, who were smiling.

"Her stuff is in the car-" "that's fine" I nodded, following them outside.

She grabbed her bag from the trunk of their car, which had their suitcases in it.

"And we will see you next week" Blake smiled out.

No hug offers, no I love you's

Just small waves and smiles before they got into their car, leaving.

I walked her to my car, letting her put her duffle bag into it.

"So I took off for the rest of the day so we could hang out instead of you being locked in my office with me, we just have to run and tell my boss" I explained to her, seeing her slowly nod.

She followed me close as we went to my bosses office, I knocked on the doorframe since his door was open.

"Hey, I'm leaving for today" I smiled.

"Okay, have fun"

We immediately left together.

I started the car as she buckled up, looking to me with the smallest smile.

"Excited?" I asked, seeing her smile bigger.

"Happy." She confirmed quietly.

The ride was quiet until I spoke

"We left off on you" I spoke, looking to her as she looked out the window.

I noticed her knee start shaking, and I couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking.

"I trust you" she spoke slowly, never looking to me.

"That's a good thing" I mumbled to her.

"Not to me" she barely spoke.

"Why?" I asked her.

She finally looked to me

"Because I promised myself I wouldn't trust anyone" she spoke out.

"I'm not going to hurt you" I spoke to her sternly.

She looked away, looking to her hands.

I heard her sigh lightly.

"I know" she barely spoke, carefully grabbing my hand, holding it in her two hands gently.

I ran my thumb over one area of her hand, feeling her give my hand the smallest squeeze.

I knew it was my turn

"When I was your age, it was hard for me to trust people too" I spoke quietly.

She looked to me

"Not for the same reasons, I assume" I mumbled, continuing

"But there are bad people in the world- you've gotta take into account the good people too. You have to be able to trust someone."

"You won't break my trust, right?" She whispered as I pulled into our driveway

"I'd rather die then break your trust."
