If ya haven't seen this already:
So here's my thoughts:
-I'm not really a fan of regional variants, and I wasn't excited to see them return. I would've preferred if regional variants would stay in Alola (like the trials). However, it's good to see them include not-Kanto pokemon for once.
-I don't mind Galarian Weezing but why is it part fairy type.
-Galarian Zigzagoon line is pretty cool. I'm starting to warm up to Obstagoon. (Also it's nice to see evolutions of old pokemon become a thing again)
-Morpeko is ok, definitely not my favorite pika clone but not my least favorite. Also why, why does it have a hangry form? Why did that specific word have to be used? Never in a million years would I have expected (or wanted) to see the word "hangry" used in Pokémon.
-Rivals are eh. I was right about there being multiple rivals though. Marnie is basically female Gladion.
-Team Yell is also eh. But I like their pink horn things.
-Idea: what if Marnie was the evil team leader (or one of the admins)? Because think about it- why would the team yell grunts be huge fans of someone other than the leader (or admins)? Why would they have posters of her? (That's actually really creepy.) And it would be cool to have the evil team leader as one of your rivals. That's probably not happening, but it's just a thought.
