I'm a 100% legit movie reviewer, I swear.
Spinel is absolutely amazing. Her voice actress, her songs, her backstory, her design- all amazing. She's a well-developed villain for having just been introduced.
I love all the songs but my favorites are Other Friends, Drift Away, and True Kinda Love.
My only complaint is the pacing- the middle seemed to drag out and somewhat rushed the ending.
So I haven't really been keeping up with SU since maybe season 2 so I don't really know the diamonds or bismuth or any of the other gems. I also didn't know that Steven and Greg can fuse now...?
The most heartbreaking part of the movie is when Spinel breaks through the roots growing around her feet... that part hits me in the feels every time I see it.
