Chapter 2

Y/n's P.O.V

Taehyung!

I run outside as fast as I can and dropped on the ground with my knees hurting. My eyes were blurred as tears fell

He just got out of jail and.. Who would even do this ?!

“Call an ambulance! Hurry!” Namjoon yelled. I lift Taehyung's head and look around

Maybe the one who shot him is still around..

“The ambulance is here!” Jungkook pointed. Soon, They lift Taehyung up and they brought him to the hospital. I didn't want to be in the same car as him.. It was hard for me.

Namjoon and Yoongi were the one who go instead.

“W-We have to go.. Y/n?” Hoseok stuttered “Taehyung needs us” He holds my shoulder

I swear, Taehyung changed and yet they targeted him. They want revenge? It shouldn't be this way.

“Yeah.. Yeah” I nodded many times and look around once more before entering the car that Seokjin drives.

“I hope hyungs fine.. I hope hyungs fine..” Jungkook kept repeating.

He was just released from jail and this is his welcome gift? I know I kept repeating myself but just imagine years have passed that you didn't see your loved one

Then this happened, Your mind will be focus on that scenario. That and that only.

“Excuse me..” Seokjin asked the nurse where is Taehyung headed and she said their in the ER room. Straight to the ER room.

This is really true.

“Let's go” We run through the hallways and went inside the elevator. Our way up took us so long that I could die in here thinking about Taehyung.

“Who the hell would shoot hyung anyways?” Jungkook face palmed “I don't know.. I'm sure it's someone crazy”

“Is it.. A yandere perhaps?”  Jimin raised both of his eyebrows “Dream on Jimin, Taehyung's been hidden in jail for how many years. I'm sure no girls had seen him except for Y/n visiting” Seokjin  rolled his eyes

“There's a big possibility someone's still stalking him.. Taehyung's image is still out in the public and he is still a issue. A hot topic that never vanish” -Jimin

“Wow.. Jimin since when did you plan all of that?” -Seokjin

“We're here” Hoseok walk out of the place. Like his voice became cold and all this time he was silent.

This is it..

Came to my view is the ER with red color. I run my way and was about to enter when Seokjin stopped me

“Y/n.. He will be fine. I assure you that. Namjoon and Yoongi are over there” He said

I wanted to break free, But I feel so weak with Seokjin's grasp. I mean, He was holding me with no force whatsoever but I feel like I've been choked.

“Guys, The doctor said we need to wait for the result. It will be a very .. Uhm how do you say this.. Difficult?” Namjoon stood up and places a hand on my shoulder.

“Difficult? What do you mean--”

“What happened?!” We heard heavy footsteps from behind. It was Daniel

“Guys!” Hwenji hugged us and looked at me worriedly

“Hoseok called us, He said it was a emergency and so we rushed here”

“It's Taehyung..” I looked at Daniel “His been shot”

“Tell me who it is and I will--”

“The problem is.. He was assassinated.” I trailed off

“Who would even do such thing? What's their reason?” Hwenji asked

“I thought the same too.. But right now all we can do is hope for Taehyung to be safe. He needs us” I said

Hwenji stroke my hair and smiled sadly “Oh Y/n.. You're the most affected one here” Then she hugged me. Nothing changed, Even her scent.

“Y/n wake up”

“Y/n--”

“Let her sleep”

“Y/n!!!!”

“Jungkook! I said--”

“Oh.. Sorry” I lift my head only to see his eyes staring back at me. His hands lock with mine and his smile.. Oh goodness.. That's all I have to see.

I blink many times and rubbed my eyes. I hope this is real

“Hug him” Says Jungkook, he was smacked on his shoulders by Seokjin

“I was just instructing her--”

“I'll excuse Jungkook for a bit” Seokjin smiled sheepishly and drag Jungkook outside by his ear.

“Taehyung are you alright?” I didn't hug him. He might still be in pain. If I hug him I will hurt him more because I can't promise anyone my hug will be soft and short.

“I hope I didn't scare you” He giggled and touches my cheeks. Tracing every inch of my face “I'm back” He smiled

That has caused me to hug him. Damn it, I can't hold back.

“Aww” Hwenji said

“Taehyung, I'am glad you're back” Daniel salutes Taehyung “The group is doing well”

“Apperantly, Daniel took the 'Mafia boss' part too seriously.” Hwenji quote with her fingers, Rolling her eyes at the same time.

Yeah, Daniel's been busy with all the Mafia stuff. Also, He started caging Hwenji inside Taehyung's house --which were Daniel's under control for how many years because Taehyung was gone-- He won't let Hwenji see me.

When I'm visiting the house, The guards won't let me in unless Hwenji were the ones who walk me from the entrance door to allowed rooms.

Yes, There are stricted rooms. Only for Mafia members or leaders. Hwenji told me that

“But he's been doing a great job looking after the group” -Hwenji

“I promised Taehyung that. I don't want to break that promise” Daniel said

“Thank you”

“But you have to rest though.. We'll try finding whoever shot you and let them pay. Even the mastermind” Daniel added

“I will join the investigation. Please find hints while I'm resting. We will show them no mercy” Out of the blue, Taehyung's innocent and bubbly personality turned into a dark one.

“Agreed”

“This Mafia thing is scary,” Jimin rests his chin on top of his palms “and I like it”

“Jimin you never change” -Taehyung

“Why Thank you”

“Oh gosh.. Jimin please go along with Jungkook and Seokjin outside. Tell them to buy foods” Namjoon stood up and approached the bed “Go” He said to Jimin

“So.. Taehyung” Hoseok is again quiet all the time but now spoke up, I wonder why his been like this.

“Yes hyung?”

“You really have no plan going back to make music?” -Hoseok

I've love Taehyung's voice when singing also I know his passion is composing a song and this is just sad for me to watch as Taehyung find answer to Hoseok's question.

“Hyung.. I've got a new job now and that's continuing a family tradition. They've passed me the throne and I don't want to waste their trust,”

“I understand..”

“Just if you need any help I can give you one”
