I already know what y'all thinking and to be honest I really don't give a fuck that nigga got what was coming to him. I told him to stay away from Jaidyn but he didn't listen. My brother Carlos was supposed to do this for me but he didn't want no parts so I had to handle it myself. Just know imma get what's mine even if she did have a baby by this nigga.

{ The next morning }

{ Jaidyn }

I woke up to my phone ringing and it was 5:00 in the morning so I had no idea who could be calling me this early. I answered and a woman spoke

" Hello" I answered

"Hello Ms Reese this is the Atlanta Medical Center we have Rodriguez Broadnax here and he has been shot " the lady said to me. I suddenly felt my heart drop into my stomach and my chest cave in. Tears filled my eyes as the lady was still talking but I didn't hear anything I was stuck.

"I'm on my way now thank you " I said hanging up

I rushed and got up to put on some sweats and a tshirt with my blue jean jacket and converse brushed my teeth and rushed to grab camryn put her on some clothes and packed her bag and ran out the door grabbing my keys and phone. I took cam to my grandma's house and then made my way to the hospital. I arrived at the hospital and ran in towards the front desk "hi I'm here to see Rodriguez broadnax " I said with a voice full of panic "he's in room 323 on the third floor " she said giving me a visitors pass and directing me to the right elevator

I finally made it upstairs to his room opened the door slowly and there he was laying there hooked up to all kinds of tubes and monitors almost lifeless. I just stood there froze as tears ran down my face. I walked over to his bed and sat down next to him just rubbing his hand with my fingers. I put my head down on the bed and just cried "Who did this to you " I said just then the doctor came in

"Hello you must be Ms Reese " he said with a calming tone

"Yes hi " I said wiping my tears "how is he " I said with a look of concern

"As of right now he's stable we were able to stop the bleeding but it's still touch and go " he said looking at his papers "he was shot in the leg the stomach and the chest and he's in a coma so we will monitor him very closely " he said looking at me

"Well thank you so much doctor " I said with a fake smile. He then left the room. I just sat there and talked to him hoping that he heard and that he knew I was there. 2 hours later his mother came and we hugged and just sat there talking and catching up I loved ms.rosie like she was my mother she was so sweet and caring.

Mama Rosie: "baby you need to get out this hospital and get some fresh air you can't be cooped up in here" she said

"I can't leave him mama I need to be here with him I'll be fine " I said looking up at her

Mama Rosie: "I know you love him jj and I definitely know he loves you the way he talks about you the way he lights up when somebody mentions your name the way he loves his daughter he wouldn't wanna see you like this " she said sitting back next to me

"Mama I know your right but I would just feel alot better being close to him" I said looking up at her "but I guess I could get out for a minute and come back later I do need to go check on cam "

Mama Rosie: " Yes you do where is my grandbaby anyway? " she said smiling

"She's at my grandma's house right now " I said

Mama Rosie: "well go check on my grandbaby and get you some fresh air I mean it I love you jj and if you need me just call me " she said

"I love you to mama rosie and thank you " I said as we hugged I then got up and walked over to him kissing his forehead and then walking out reaching my car I got in and drove to my grandma's house  and finally arrived 15 minutes later.

I walked in and seen my grandma sitting on the couch with cam I walked over and hugged her.

Granny: "how are you holding up baby " she said as she hugged me with warm embrace

"I'm doing okay I guess just still can't believe this has happened to him " I said as my eyes started to well up from the tears

Granny: "He is going to be fine I know he is don't worry yourself too much you have to be strong for your baby girl " she said

"I know grandma but I was just wondering if cam could stay with you for a couple of days " I said

Granny: "Of course I will baby you know that take this little time to get yourself together camryn will be fine " she said hugging me

"Thank you so much granny I love you so much what would I do without you " I said smiling

Granny: "you cam and Shannon are all I got so I'm just grateful " she said

"Okay grandma imma get outta here I just had to come check on you to I love you see you later imma bring cam some stuff back "

I left went home hopped in the shower got out lotioned up put on blue victoria secret pink sweats with the pink writing down the side and the matching sweater put my hair up in a ponytail and my diamond earrings and necklace blue converse and sprayed on perfume. I then went and packed cams things for the week and headed out. I dropped off the things to my grandma's house and headed back to the hospital.

When I arrived they gave me a visitors pass to keep I headed upstairs and went in his room I kissed him and told him I loved him. I then just sat on the couch and watched tv. I just sat up hoping that he would wake up soon he means everything to me and I don't think I could deal with it if he left me.  After driving myself crazy with all that thinking I drifted off to sleep.
