Jameel was seething. They had Aaliyah. He didn't know what to do, because he didn't work for them anymore, so he didn't know where to go. All he could do was wait, and hopefully they would be in touch. He sighed, because of him his Aaliyah was in danger. He knew what sort of people they were, he should of just kept on running, but the moment he saw Aaliyah, she took his breath away. He had to know her, that was why he followed her here. He couldn't believe how everyone was treating her, just because she was a widow. He didn't know when he fell in love with her, but he couldn't take the way they were treating her. That's why inspite of everything, he married her. He hoped his old life was in the past, and he could move on. He should of known that was impossible.

Suddenly the phone rang

"You must have realised Jameel, you can't outrun your past. We own you. And now we have your lovely wife here, to get you to do as we say."

"Don't you dare touch her."

"Relax, no harm will come to her, as long as you do what we say."

"Put her on the phone. I need reassurance she's ok, before I do anything."

"Jameel" came a scared voice

"Aaliyah, I'm sorry. It's my fault you are involved in this. I should have left you alone."

"No Jameel, don't say that. I'm happy you came into my life. You taught me how to live again and how to love again. Something I thought I could never do again."

"Ok lover boy, enough mushy talk. As you can hear, she's fine. But for how long, that depends on you."

"Please leave her be. I'll do as you say."

"Sorry. Not talking any chances. She's our insurance policy. Keep your phone on. We'll be in touch soon."
