I normally post drawings here, but as well as doing those, I fancy myself a bit of an amateur photographer, and these ones have an interesting story attached.
About two days ago now, a major wildfire tore through my local area. It burned for about eight hours, and through about 80 hectares of land. The blaze it came incredibly close to my house, almost 200 metres. While it was happening, we really couldn't do much except get things ready to leave in case it got closer, and wait for the call to evacuate the house. So in the meantime, I took some pictures, which I'm pretty proud of. So here they are.
I actually noticed something familiar about the second photo, and posted this little joke I made to a friend on reddit (where it got wayyyy more attention than I thought).
Uncanny, don't you reckon?
Other people seemed to think so, and I was actually sent some photoshops. While I normally only want this book to be stuff I own, I felt like sharing these. The first one was done by an irl friend of mine (he would prefer to go uncredited).
And the second one is by a complete stranger on reddit who said he loved the picture (and my ability to not just run screaming). I would credit them directly, but I can't find their account... but thanks man, it made my day and really brightened a really dark situation.
So yeah. Some photos. If people want to see more of my photography I can definitely put some up. I've been overseas a lot this year and have some nice photos of some pretty scenic (and less bleak) locations that I can probably find.
Anyway, that's all. Thanks to that guy.

RandomI mean it's pretty much what it says. Don't expect anything of great quality, it's just kind of random sketches.
