Chapter 3 - Shopping

No One's POV

Veronica and North Korea made their way into the city, Veronica explained a few things and told North to not interact with anyone as much as possible. To North's distaste of wearing a jacket, let alone have the hood on, it just makes him look just like his obnoxious brother--which he did not like. Still, North understood as to why he had to wear such an outfit so he did not bother to complain or whine about it. In about a few minutes they had reached their destination: Red Flare Corperation. A very fitting name, since all of this company's products spread like wild fire, North slightly laughed at it but he mostly cringed.

Veronica's POV

As we entered the building I was immediately greeted by employees that walked pass me and North, some looked at us either weirdly, or ignored and didn't bother and some simply looked with curiousity. I can feel North Korea getting rather uncomfortable as he walked behind me, I sighed and looked over to him by my shoulder.

"Walk beside me" I ordered "You look like lost puppy following whoever"
"Don't need to tell me twice" he retorted "and I hate it"
"Sure thing" I said, looking back ahead of me

"Good Morning Ms.Smith" one of the receptionist greeted
"Good Morning" I greeted back along with a slight nod, still walking

We walked over to to an empty elevator and went to 7th floor, it was rather relaxing for me since the rest of the little trip was quiet. Once we reached a certain glass door, I pushed opened the door and walked in, North following close--though he stood her the door not wanting to step in any further.

"I'm only going to drop this off, I'll just tell my secretary to take a few things from here and there so there should n no other problem" I said, taking out the brown envelope and placed it onto the desk "After that, we'll be taking our leave right away" North only nodded

We soon left and went to the nearest mall, 'Now this is where the hard part gets....' I thought and glancing over at North Korea, I pursed my lips in thought 'I hope he knows how to pick up their clothes, despite knowing them as countries, I don't know all of them in person's

I parked my car and we both got out and headed inside the mall to where the men's clothes area should be, when we did we started to pick out seven pairs of clothes for each of the countries. I have to admit, we were struggling on guessing the sizes of most of it but North Korea said his brother is the same size as him and that his brother just wears over-sized and baggy clothes. He also said that Philippines was just about the same size as Poland but just a bit smaller, Germany's size should be slightly bigger than him and his brothers size. Though, we suffered mostly on picking out clothes for the two tall Russians. I groaned in frustration as I looked through the nearly hanged clothes, my index finger and thumb under my chin, deep in thought. My tense look relaxed a bit as I eyed a neat looking coat, a coat you would usually wear during the cold seasons.

"That's a nice coat right there, 10/10" I heard North Korea said beside me, unlike me he stood straight his hands on his knees and me bending over my hand still under my chin as I smirked at him
"I see you're a man of culture~" I cooed
"Same goes from here" he smirked back at me
"Still" I said cutting off our tiny bonding time "We still need to a few more things 'till we head back" I looked at my wrist watch and my eyes widened by a fraction, we left the Red Flare building on 6:03 am and now it's 12:34 nn
"What?" North asked as he glanced at me " something wrong? "
"Ahh....no" I said and sighed "A lot of time passed is all" I brushed it off, he only raised his brow in question
"It's been somewhere around...... seven hours since we've left the building" I said and sweat dropped a little
"Oh" he also sweat dropped "Guess we really took out time here, huh?"
" Yup" I said "Well, we should keep getting more stuff for you guys"
"This is a lot, you sure you can pay for this?" He asked
"Some of these stuff that were buying comes from my company, I get to have a little discount" I said as I flashed a card at him
"Right....." He said, looking unamused
