🌊 Third Person
Junkyu's mouth agape upon what awaits for him. By the shore, a carpet– more of a blanket– was laid on the sand and pillows are scattered on it, at the middle of the blanket is a low table that has the foods Mashiho prepared. What fascinates Junkyu, three bamboos were formed into a triangle and was covered with a curtain and decorated with lights.
"Y-you... You prepared this?" Junkyu asked his boyfriend, still in awe of what he is seeing.
Mashiho nodded with a smile, "Did you like it?"
"No, baby. I love it. I really love it." Junkyu flashed his smile and hugged his boyfriend.
The sat down of the blanket while Junkyu wandered his eyes– still in awe. Mashiho couldn't help but to smile on how cute Junkyu is.
They ate the food prepared in silence, as both of them enjoys the salty breeze from the sea and the comfortable silence making them appreciate each other's presence.
After enjoying the meal, the two say side by side, facing the sea. They both looked up at the night sky filled with shining stars and the bright moon. Mashiho has always been fascinated with the beauty of the moon, but maybe there's something that fascinates him more now– his boyfriend's beauty, so he turned to Junkyu who has a smile on his lips.
"Pretty." Mashiho uttered earning a glance from his boyfriend. Junkyu sported a confused look while he stare at Mashiho.
"You look so pretty, love." Mashiho lifted his hand and caressed Junkyu's face ever so gently.
Junkyu smiled as he grasp on Mashiho's hand that has been caressing his cheeks, "I love you."
"And, I love you more, Kim Junkyu." Mashiho responded as he pulled the other closer and engulfed him in a tight hug.
"You know what, I feel so blessed having you. I'm so lucky that I can call you mine." Mashiho whispered not letting go of Junkyu. He loves feeling the taller's warmth, like it comforts him, it serves as his safe haven.
Junkyu planted a kiss on Mashiho's crown as he smiled at the latter's statement, "I'm beyond blessed to have a perfect man like you, love. You don't know how grateful I am for having you. Yah." he gently pushed the other for a bit, "Promise me something..."
"Hmm?"
"Promise me that you'll never go away, that you will stay with me no matter what happens... And that you'll never leave me. I really don't know what will I do if I lose you..." Junkyu looked down and reached for Mashiho's hands, he held them tightly, as if he doesn't want to let him go.
Mashiho pulled his left hand from Junkyu's grip, and lifted Junkyu's face by holding his chin as he flashed a smile that melts the taller's heart. His smiles are so full of love and sincerity, same goes to his doe eyes. His gaze went down from Junkyu's eyes to chest where the necklace he gave him is dangling, and he looked up to his eyes again.
"I will not go anywhere, love. I will never leave you. I will stay with you even on our darkest times. Love, you'll never lose me, because I won't let that happen." Mashiho said looking straight into Junkyu's eyes.
Junkyu smiled as he remembers his plan, "Hey didn't I tell you we'll do something fun tonight?" the other raised a brow in confusion.
The taller scooted closer, "We'll play hide and seek... When you find me, you'll have a prize."
"What the? But okay, make sure my prize is worth it, you bean pole." Mashiho then stood up and dusted his pants. Junkyu followed and sported a playful look making the other roll his eyes.
"Close your eyes and count up to 10..."
"Will you be able to hide in that span?"
"Ofcourse, I have long legs not like you–" Junkyu was not able to continue his sentence after Mashiho shot him a death glare, so he just chuckled and took a step back, "Close your eyes, little hamster."
Mashiho closed his eyes and Junkyu started to run to the spot where he planned. After 10 seconds, Mashiho opened his eyes and failed to see any signs of Junkyu. He sighed and started to look for him. While he was walking on the sand, he saw some footprints making him smile in victory. He followed the steps until it led him to the forest part of the island.
He continued walking til he saw something interesting... A faint amount of light from what it seems a light bulb. A smile crept into Mashiho's lips as he made his way to the spot. Upon reaching the place, he saw Junkyu smiling sweetly, looking at him lovingly.
"Found ya." he uttered almost, a whisper.
Junkyu walked closer to his man, reaching for his hand, "Wanna know your prize?"
"Can I have my prize now?" Mashiho laid his free hand and used his puppy eyes.
Junkyu chuckled and guided Mashiho to the table decorated with rose petals and made him sit on a chair, "I miss singing for you." he uttered and walked towards the grand piano on the side.
Mashiho couldn't help but to stare at Junkyu as the latter sings. His heart flutters with every lyrics that Junkyu sings, the sweetness of his voice, the sincerity in his eyes... Mashiho could feel how much the other loves him.
Junkyu turned to his lover and smile. As soon as he finished the song, he stood up and headed to where Mashiho is seated. Mashiho stood up as Junkyu walked closer to him.
The taller reached for the other's hand as his free hand fished something from his pocket. He smoothly slid a golden ring to Mashiho's finger.
"L-love..."
"I told you... You have a prize when you found me." Junkyu said as he cupped Mashiho's face and caress his cheeks.
"I love you so much, Mashi. I couldn't thank you enough for everything that you've done for me. You shower me with your unconditional and selfless love. The way you had so much patience to wait for me and love me... Baby, I'm beyond grateful to have someone like you. And with this ring..." Junkyu removed his one hand from Mashiho's face and held his hand as he ran his thumb on the ring that he gave Mashiho.
"I promise you... I promise to love you more and more each day. I promise to give and do everything that will make you happy. I promise to stick with you for the rest of my life, to protect you from everything that might hurt you. I promise to be someone that you deserve." He kissed Mashiho's forehead.
"And I promise to fulfill those promises everyday til my last breath. I love you so much, baby." he then leaned forward and sealed his promise with a sweet passionate kiss.
