sand dollars reveal
engraved blossoms
midnight indigo
mussels opalline
scraps of olive
kelp splattered
crimson lime
seaweed clinging
to rocky boulders
in tawny sands
pounded by
our november waves
the seastrand
seafoam swirling
shallow puddles forming
footsteps sinking
vanishing under
cerulean waves
a grove of relics
faded rubber ducks
a worn shoelace
stained muddy grey
an old rusty bottle
broken shells
scattered across
the tanned shore
shattered apart
spiraled coral husks
firefly spirits
smolder to ash
but i found
the perfect gift
for you
a spiraled conch
uncracked smooth
singing songs
of rushing waves
perfection

a vivid jar
glistening in
the midsummer rays
green gems
frosted white stones
dappled with
honey amber drops
olivine jewels
