The car engine rattled as you pulled up to your old home in beacon hills. You were in your third year of college studying wildlife care. The school had announced an unexpected week off, you weren't quite sure why but you also weren't complaining. You had been dying to go home and see your brother stiles and your dad. Once you climbed out of the car you instantly jogged up to the door of your home.

You pulled the key from under the doormat and quickly unlocked the door revealing a warm living room. Stiles shoes were toppled on top of each other next to the door. Your fathers jacket sluggishly draped on a hook above your brothers shoes.

You let the door swung shut behind you as you stepped into the bright and inviting house.

"Stiles?!dad?!" You yelled at the base of the stairs peering up the stairs but not yet venturing up there.

"Lydia?" you heard stiles say. Before you knew it your younger brother was sprinting down the stair case basically tripping over himself on each stair.

You threw your arms around the base of his neck and he tightly wrapped his arms around the small your back.

"Stiles" Scott and your father asked while peeking down the stairs to you you and stiles in a tight embrace.

"Lydia!" they yelled running downstairs one after the other.

You let go of stiles and went to your dad who instantly grasped you in his arms. His cold sherifs badge poking at your cheek.

Once you finished greeting everybody and catching up with them stiles offered to go buy dinner. Nobody opposed he began to leave when you ran after him.

"I'm coming with you." you said bluntly pushing past him and out the door. He chuckled and closed the door.

As you two drove through beacon hills you searched for a place to buy some food. You settled on a pizzeria near Derek hales house. You waited in the car while stiles ordered the food.

After around 5 minuets you began with to hear growling coming from the woods behind the pizza place. You slowly climbed out of the car and turned on your phone flashlight.

As you got further and further into the dark woods the growling got louder. Your legs trembled with every step.

Subconsciously you stepped on a twig causing it to snap. The noise echoed through the air making you shudder.

Suddenly two glowing blue eyes shone your way. You shrieked and began to run back but the creature was to fast. It pinned you to a tree and snarled in your face.

"Derek?" you whispered realizing the resemblance between the two beings.

Eventually you were sure that it was him and you weren't as scared.

"Derek!" you said a little louder. His breathing slowed but he was still a werewolf. You pulled one hand away from his tight grip. You held the side of his face and looked into his eyes.

"Derek. Calm down. Its alright, everything is going to be alright just calm down".

He closed his eyes and let his head hang still pinning you to the tree.

"I'm sorry."He whispered "I don't know-" he started

"It's alright" you said cutting him off. You held his face once again giving yourself a better look at how handsome he was.

"It's alright" you repeated. He let go of you and he smoothed your tousled hair. You kissed him upon impulse but immediately stepped back when you realized what you were doing. Derek didn't seem to mind because he pinned you back up against the wall and kissed you this time doing it on purpose.
