I opened my eyes to the bright sunlight hitting my face. I sat up and looked around at the bright blue bedroom; clothes littering the floor, and a disgusting musk filling the air. I tried to think back to the previous night, wondering where I ended up. I grabbed my dress and threw it over my head before grabbing my phone. I had multiple missed calls and texts from Lando and Carlos trying to work out where I'd gone. I sat back down on the bed and put my head in my hands.

I never got blackout drunk, I barely drank in general. I felt confused and dirty and wanted to get out as soon as possible.

I opened the bedroom door and quietly crept through the flat to the front door.

"La nuit dernière était amusant." I spun around to see a tall, shirtless man standing behind me. I put my shoes and looked at the man.

"I think I'm gonna go," I said, not sure if he even understood what I was saying. I opened the door and left quickly. I got onto the pavement and pulled out my phone to call Lando.

"(Y/N)? Are you okay? What happened? Where are you?" Lando started bombarding me with questions.

"Can you come pick me up? I'm fine, I'm just very confused."

"Yeah of course, where are you?"

I gave him the name of the apartment block before hanging up. I stood in the shade and waited for him to turn up, hoping he'd arrive soon in case the bloke from the night before came downstairs.

After ten minutes Lando pulled up at the curb and I got in the car before we drove away.

"Here," he said handing me a bottle of water and some painkillers. "Figured you'd probably need it."

I thanked him and took the tablets, hoping it wouldn't take long to kick in.

"So what happened?" He looked at me briefly before looking back to the road.

"I honestly don't know, I don't remember a thing. The last thing I can think of is you buying us a drink when we arrived." I stared out the window as we drove, admiring the beauty of Belgium. "I don't think he even spoke English," I muttered. When we got back to the hotel I followed Lando up to his room, wanting to just curl up in the duvet and forget that the morning had even happened.

Lando unlocked the door and threw his keycard onto the small table before walking into the bathroom.

"Can I borrow some clothes please?" I asked already sifting through his suitcase for his Valentino Rossi top and some trackies. He shouted back a yes as I threw my dress over my head and onto the floor. After I got changed, I climbed into his bed and snuggled under the covers like a caterpillar forming a cocoon.

Lando walked back out of the bathroom and glanced over at me before sitting at the end of the bed, scrolling through his Instagram. I poked his back with my foot gently until he turned to look at me.

"Come here." He rolled his eyes and turned back around back to the drivel of social media. "Are you mad at me?"

"I've been up all night worried about where your were." His voice was low and blunt, a change from his usual bubbliness. I sat up, keeping the duvet wrapped around me, a frown forming across my face.

"I didn't choose for it to happen."

"Well you obviously did. if you didn't you would've called me or Carlos or anyone. You do you, just don't regret it in the morning and come crawling to me for sympathy because you are ashamed of your decision." Rage began to race through my blood, Lando knew me better than anyone and he knew I didn't sleep around like that.

I got out of bed and walked out of the hotel room, slamming the door and walking down the hall to my room. I unlocked the door and slammed in before climbing into my own bed. It was comfy but it wasn't the same. I sighed and stared at the ceiling, I wanted to cry but my body was too exhausted to form tears. I wanted to remember what had happened to work out why I went back with that bloke. I couldn't even be sure that I wanted to go back with him. A load of different scenarios played through my head, trying to work out which ones could be a possibility. I looked at the time and sighed, I had to start packing to fly back home before the next race.

I changed out of Lando's clothes and placed them on my bed before changing into a white t-shirt and some black leggings. I threw the rest of my belongings into my suitcase and placed it by the door ready to go. I sat back on my bed and scrolled through twitter, passing then time before I had to leave.

A knock at the door tore me away from a thread about peoples pets. I grabbed Landos clothes and popped them in a small carrier bag and grabbed my suitcase. I opened the door to see Lando standing in front of me, his hands fiddling with the hem of his t-shirt. I pushed the bag of his clothes into his arms before budging past him, closing the door behind me. I began to walk down the corridor when Lando grabbed my wrist and pulled me back towards him.

"Can we talk a second please?" he spoke quietly, almost at a whisper.

"I don't have any words for you right now." He let go of my wrist and looked down at his feet briefly before looking back up at me.

"I didn't mean what I said... it was completely out of order. I'm sorry."

"The fact that it came out of your mouth hurts way more than anyone else who could've said it... I'm sorry you were up all night but that was your choice. If I had it my way I would have gone home with you and not some skeezy bloke. Why do you think I called you and not Carlos or anyone else to pick me up. I called you. I woke up scared, in a random flat and I called you, and all I got in return is a shit ton of guilt and shame. I already feel shitty for it and I wanted the one person I care about most to be there for me and they weren't. Maybe you just don't care like I do... that's okay, I just wanna know where we stand before I reach out to you."

"Don't say that. You know that isn't true," Lando took my hand and held it gently. "I don't stay up all night thinking about just some person. I stay up all night thinking and worried about this perfect girl who could've been in trouble. I don't rush into MTC to see just any random girl before I have to go to the Sim. I don't lend out my favourite top to just anyone." He pulled me closer to him, wrapping his arms around me, enveloping me into a warm and comforting hug.

"You mean the world to me (Y/N/N). More than you know. I got angry because I didn't like the thought of someone else being with you, touching you, especially when you weren't in the right frame of mind." I smiled into his chest before looking up him, his face had gone excessively pale.

"Is the Lando Norris trying to tell me that he is jealous?" I teased a small smirk tugging at my lips. He pouted looking away from me. I rolled my eyes and moved his chin to look me in the eyes. "I think it's cute... it could've done without the anger but I give it a solid 7 out of ten." He tried to keep pouting but let out a small giggle.

"So wanna let me take you out for dinner when we get back to Woking?"

"Hmm, I'll have to check my diary... I'm the PA to a F1 driver so I'm pretty busy, but I'll see if I can squeeze it in somewhere." He shook his head and chuckled before leaning down and pressing a small kiss to my forehead.

"He seems like a cool guy, I'm sure he'll give you the time off."
