The day Tamaki saw you walk past in the halls, he was absolutely smitten for you. Your eyes glimmered as they caught his eyes, making him quickly look away as his face went red. He saw your little smile, only making his heart squeeze tighter.
He was hooked.
Then you joined his class, only making him fall harder for you. You were so nice and bubbly, it was adorable.
He loved everything about you, your hair, your smile, your eyes, your voice, your personality, just everything!
If only he had the courage to ask you out...
He watched you from afar, creating scenarios in his head about dating you. He found himself doing it quite often, labelling it weird. However, that didn't stop his mind from wandering to you all the time.
He should've known Mirio and Nejire would've gotten involved, befriending you and teasing him endlessly.
"Hey! Tamaki, come over here for a sec!" Mirio tugged his shirt before practically dragging him over to a table, and there you were, sitting there while your shy eyes looked at him.
Oh God! Why?!
"Y/n, this is my bestfriend, Tamaki!" Mirio introduced you to him, a shy glance shared between the two of you. "I've heard a lot about you, you sound pretty great."
POP!
That was the sound of his heart exploding in his chest, a bright red blush spreading over his entire face.
"T-Thank you," He managed to stutter out, Nejire and Mirio snickering at his state. "Uh, I-I bet y-you a-are too."
Ever since that day, you became closer, making him fall even harder for you. The feeling was mutual. You became his rock; someone who he could rely on no matter what.
Even when someone was making fun of Tamaki for something, you'd be there in a second and scare them off. Let's just say they wouldn't be hanging around Tamaki anytime soon. Panic attack? No problem! You'd be there, no matter what and you'd always cheer him up.
Although you weren't part of 'the big 3', you always tried your best and always tried to hang out with them.
You were a literal angel to him.
But here he was, cowering in one of the empty halls near 1-A. He was supposed to talk to some first-years with Mirio and Nejire, but hell, was he crumbling.
"I-I w-want t-to g-go h-home!" He complained as Mirio sent a text to you, Nejire trying her best to calm him down.
You sped down the hall, catching Tamaki's eyes. He immediately made a beeline towards you, wrapping his arms around you and his head burying into your neck.
Your comfort was so warm and nice, your smell was so relaxing. It actually made Tamaki forget about everything around him, his heart relaxing slowly. He couldn't help but feel safe.
"It's gonna be ok, Tama. They're just some first years, they aren't gonna hurt 'cha. I promise that you'll be fine, everything will be ok."
"I don't wanna be here!"
"I know you do, but hold out a little longer for me ok? Maybe we could go to an ice-cream parlour, get some sundaes this weekend if you do this speech? How does that sound?"
You felt him nod, Nejire and Mirio swooning over the two of you. He was so happy, newfound confidence bursting through his chest.
"I l-love you y/n."
Nejire and Mirio were both keeping silent no matter how excited they were, trying their best to not ruin the moment.
"I love you too, Tamaki."
The screams and yells erupted, only making Tamaki yelp and bury himself further into you. "OH MY GOD! FINALLY! THEY'RE DATING AHHHH!"
You couldn't help but laugh, Tamaki slowly pulling away from your embrace. The sound of your laugh made him happy as if he wasn't happy enough with your shared confession.
"Now go get em, bunny," You placed a sweet kiss on his cheek, a bright red blush enveloping over his face.
