"How are you here?" Sean asked as he stared Omen down. "Where's Unbound?"
Omen took off his mask, showing that his smirk was as wide as Erin's used to be. "Dead."
Sean immediately tensed up. "You expect us to believe you pulled that off?"
He was hit by a whip of light, and sent flying into a building, his leg flying from his body. "I don't expect you to do anything but obey. I've won. It was always going to end this way. He was far too bound by his self-imposed duties of protecting the trash of this world to ever stand a chance." Omen walked over to Don's unconscious body and picked it up. "I'll be taking this one with me, to replace all the traitors in our midst. A power like his will definitely come in handy."
Sean's leg started twitching from its place on the ground, then began to crawl back over to him. "He's nothing like you. Let him go."
Omen smirked again. "Feel free to make me. That's how this world will function soon enough, after all. The mighty will take what they want, and the gravel will know their place." He started to walk away.
"Give him back!" Sean yelled as his leg reattached itself.
Another whip of light hit him, this time across the face, and completely blinded him as it left a horizontal gash across his eyes. Sean released an ear-shattering scream as he tried to force the injury to heal.
"Just be grateful I value your vapor too much to kill you," Omen said. "But that courtesy has its limits. Keep coming after me, and I am going to kill you."
Sean was about to pounce, but the sound of buzzing distracted him. His eyes healed just in time to see Omen be surrounded by a swarm of bees. They tried to sting him, but he kept dodging them all, then shooting them down one by one.
"Being a deserter wasn't enough; You wish to add betrayal to your list of sins, Inadu?"
The bees suddenly got a lot faster, and even someone like Omen struggled to dodge them all. A few of them managed to sting him, because he also had trouble shooting them down. They also seemed to be increasing in number.
Omen was unusually out of breath, too. The vapor-boosting drug he'd taken came with undesirable consequences. His motor functions were failing him. Every beam of light he fired was weaker and weaker, while the bees only got stronger and stronger.
He dropped Don, at which point some of the bees came together and formed Inadu's head and shoulders, both made of honey. "Having difficulties, Father Omen?"
The man hissed, his body aching from the stings. "How the hell are you so strong now? You used to be the weakest among us."
Inadu shrugged. "I guess Shen didn't appreciate being tortured for hours on end. Pretty weird, right?"
"Another traitor, then. I'll be sure to deal with him, too."
The bees flew toward Omen again, and he couldn't do anything to swat them away.
Suddenly, Inadu's bees disappeared, and she was standing in their place.
"I have returned!" declared the Destroyer, revived once again. "Nothing you maggots do will ever stop me!"
Realizing what a golden opportunity this was, Sean glanced at Inadu and screamed, "Kill him while his vapor's gone!"
The girl nodded, and threw herself at Omen. She was naked and unarmed, so she had to go with punching and kicking. Omen caught the very first punch she threw, then hit her right back, breaking her nose as he sent her to the ground.
"These are the ones who killed Erin," said Omen, looking at the Destroyer. "As well as the ones who killed your previous body. If you'd like to take revenge on them, I'll back you-"
"Stop talking!" Dean yelled as he ran toward the group, having returned to the city. "Don't move!"
His words affected Omen's brain, making him incapable of turning to face him. A single shard of ice pierced his chest, and he hit the ground, blood pooling around him.
The Destroyer then turned around, and as his gaze went from Omen to Dean and Dimitri, the light esper vanished, able to use his vapor once more.
"Didn't we kill him already?" asked Dimitri as the Destroyer smirked.
"I'm unkillable!"
"No, we definitely killed you," countered Dean. "Twice."
The man pointed to his previous corpse, which was still around. "Three times, and I've come back stronger after each death."
Sean snuck up behind him and grab him around the neck, then twisted it.
It didn't budge.
Newer, larger muscles twitched beneath the skin as the Destroyer transformed once again. He grew dark brown fur all over his body as his size increased. His fangs became tusks, protruding from his mouth. The bones of his feet rearranged themselves to form hooves.
"The boar this time," Dean realized.
"Surround him!" Sean ordered. "He can't cancel everything if he's not looking at all of us!"
Dimitri acted right away, running around the half-boar, half-man. He got to his side, and the Destroyer followed him with his eyes.
Sean kicked him in the back, but it only made him stumble forward. It was enough to get his eyes off Dimitri, however, so he wound up showered in icicles.
None of them did major damage.
The Destroyer turned toward Sean, and charged. The vampire kept jumping back slightly, leading him toward a building. When he was next to a car and the boar-man charged, Dean yelled out, "Miss!"
The trajectory of the Destroyer's attack changed, and he crashed headfirst into the car, totaling it.
Dimitri took the chance to send more ice his way. It tore the car apart even more, and the oil leaked all over the Destroyer, who was standing back up.
"He mentioned only having one body left before," Sean said, kicking at the man's side to no avail. "If we kill him now, he's done for."
As the three of them got ready to attack him, Inadu's bees started buzzing again. The Destroyed looked up, canceling her vapor, and letting Dimitri and Sean attack.
The backs of his knees got punctured by ice as Sean sank his teeth into his back. The Destroyer convulsed harshly, trying to shake the vampire off, but Sean held on tight.
"Destroyer, freeze!" Dean yelled, and the man stopped moving, letting Sean drain as much blood as he could. Dimitri's ice went through his stomach, forcing him down on the ground as he lost more and more life. He reverted back to his human form, after which Sean snapped his neck, killing him for good.
