"Sam you can't possibly be serious right now." I said a little scared as we enter an abandoned farm. "But I am my dear love." He chuckled and carried on walking in. I blushed lightly at the nickname and carried on behind him. I hate how flustered I get from the little things he does.

To this point I have grown a crush on him. A strong one. As shocking as it sounds, it's true. How his blue eyes look down at me, how his soft lips move every time he speaks, how caring he is, and how he cares so much about others than himself, it's truly amazing. He's truly a nice person and is not someone I had expected to meet on this 'trip'.

I walked closer to him as we walked through the dark farm, little sounds being heard from all around. "You scared?" He taunted and I slowly glanced away, about to move away when he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him.

"I won't let anything happen to you Colby. I promise." He said softly as he looked down at me. "T-Thank you Sam." I whispered, holding onto his arm as we looked around. I felt my cheeks heating up but thankfully it was dark so he can't see me.

I felt butterflies roam around my stomach as his grip on me tightened and as I glanced up at him a little. He was so focused on his surroundings, his ocean blue eyes scanning the dark farm only being lit up by a single flashlight.

We arrived at a crooked ladder, making me feel uneasy. Sam removed his arm from around me, making me miss his touch around me. I wish he could hold me forever.

-
"C'mere." Sam whispered slightly as he gestured me over. I let out a shaky breath and walked towards him. "We have to climb." He said simply and I shook my head lightly, backing away.

"Colby you'll be fine. Like I said, I won't let anything happen to you." He uttered softly and I took in a deep breath. "O-Okay." I whispered and placed my hands on the ladder and began climbing up.

Suddenly, one of the legs of the ladder snapped and began falling. "S-Sam!" I yelped and held on tightly. He quickly ran to the other side of the ladder and pushed it up so it was straight up.

"Go go go." He groaned, lifting both the ladder and me up. I quickly shuffled up it and sat on the edge. I panted slightly and looked over to see if Sam was okay. "I promised." He chuckled lightly making me glare at him.

"H-How will you get up here?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows realizing the ladder snapped. "I'll have to find another way up there." He sighed, looking around. "W-Wait you're leaving me alone?" I asked a little scared.

"Just a little. I'll be back with you as soon as possible." He replied before walking off. I let out a shaky breath and stood up slowly, minding my step. I slowly began walking around, scanning my surroundings as all I heard was silence.

I stayed still for a little while listening for anything. Just, anything. "S-Sam?" I called out quietly. Silence. "S-Sam." I called again, a little louder than before, as panic began rising in me.

I looked around quickly, looking for a flashlight or any sort of light. Tears built up in my eyes as well as fear as I started breathing heavily. Did he leave me? Am I gonna die alone? Is this it?

Suddenly, I felt arms slither around my waist making me stiffen. "It's just me." Sam whispered making me calm down and hug him tightly. I sniffled into his chest and he slowly wrapped his arms around me, pledging comfort.

"Don't e-ever do that again." I pouted making him chuckle lightly. "Sorry." He replied and laid his chin on my head. I slowly pulled away after a while, looking up at him and he looked down at me.

I looked it his eyes that were sparkling under the moon's light shining down on us through a big gap in the wall. He did the same, staring into my eyes before glancing down at my lips.

I looked down a little, the thought of him not liking me the same filling my mind. Two fingers were put under my chin before gently lifting it up. I watched as Sam slowly leaned in, glancing at my lips before connecting his with mine.

Butterflies swirled around my stomach as his lips moved against mine, relief filling me as well as happiness. I replied with the kiss instantly, slowly wrapping my arms around his neck.

He slid his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him as well, this amazing sensation filling us both. Slowly, we pulled away leaving a trail of saliva connected by our lips, as we parted lightly.

"I love you Colby. And I'm done hiding it." Sam blurted and happiness filled me over the top. "I.. I love you too Sam." I smiled brightly as I looked up at him. He smiled even brighter and smashed his lips against mine once again.
